Chapter Twenty Six

Taehyung's POV

It's been a week since I've spoken to Sunny. She hasn't answered my calls or text, and she hasn't been coming to school. I'm really worried about her but I can't come over because what if her parents see's me, or what if I see another guy in her bed. I couldn't handle that, we're still together...I think. I mean, Sunny hasn't told me we are breaking up she's just been ignoring me. I know she needs time to think this through and collect her thoughts but I need to come clean about Jinhwan just incase Sunny and I don't make it.

Namjoon, Uni, and I agreed that at this point we need to figure out what Jinhwan is hiding, this could be our only chance to catch him and help Sunny. Namjoon agreed to look into any more hidden files of Jinhwan, and Uni went to the hospital to figure out he's diagnosis. Maybe that'll explain whats going on in Jinhwan's head.

I continuously text Sunny asking to meet up so we can just talk, finally last night she responded and agreed to meet at a cafe close by. I hurried to get ready this morning because I could finally see her. Her beautiful face and smile, I can finally capture it again but this meeting isn't about that, I just need to say what I need to say and hopefully figure out where we stand.

I take a seat at a booth close by the door so that Sunny could find me. Taking my seat I felt a knot in my stomach, I was really nervous because this conversation can go so many ways. The barista sets my drinks that I ordered for Sunny and I on the table before bowing.

"Thank you," I speak before she leaves. Soon after I watch as Sunny enters the cafe. She looks around before landing her eyes on me. I quickly smile at her but she just walks to me with a straight face. I sigh at her reaction and watch as she sits down in front of me. I look up smelling blood, I haven't fed in a while so my reaction was quick. I take a look at Sunny and watch as she wipes the blood from her lips, so she's been feeding. Is that how she's coping? Is that why she hasn't been going to school? I look away in guilt before speaking, "H-hey..."

Sunny takes a breath, "Hey," I look back at her once I heard her voice. It sounded so broken but I haven't heard it in forever, It made me smile.

"How are you?" I ask. Sunny looks away collecting her thoughts before looking back at me.

"I'm fine...you?" I nod in response, "So why did you want to meet?"

My hand move on top of each other on my lap, "I just wanted to check in, we haven't spoken in a while," Sunny tilts her head.

"Thats it?" She responds like she knows there's more to this meeting.

"Aaaand I need to speak to you about Jinhwan," I watch as she rolls her eyes, "I don't know where we stand Sunny, and I do want to be with you but I understand what I did is hard to be forgiven. So even if you don't want to be with me anymore I need to come clean, and I need to let you know what's been going on so you can protect yourself," She shakes her head in response.

"Taehyung, I'm really drained right now and I don't need any more drama check in's, I'm still recovering from the last one," Sunny gets up regretting she ever came and began walking out of the booth.

"Jinhwan is your scent, Sunny," Quickly she stops moving and faces me.

"W-what? No he's not," I nod in response.

"He is, and it's clear to see. Please let me talk to you," I look at her desperately begging for her to just listen. Sunny looks me in my eyes, those eyes read afraid. We never touched this part of being a vampire and how she's going to deal with it. I knew what she wanted was my comfort and to tell her what she needed to hear. As much as I wanted to walk over to her and hug her, I knew I needed to respect her space.
