Chapter Thirty One

Is It Finally Over?

Sunny's POV

I watch as Jinhwan and Taehyung stare each other down. My heart began to beat fast, I didn't get to finish my conversation with Jinhwan. I'm not even sure if I can do this anymore, but it's already too late, Jinhwan found out. 

"So this is why you brought me here, Sunny," I stare at Jinhwan's back as he speaks facing Taehyung. 

"I..." I didn't know what to say. 

"Is this some kind of trap?" Jinhwan chuckles turning around to look at me. I look up at him still embarrassed.

"I just wanted to talk," Quietly, I speak. Jinhwan sighs before hearing Taehyung's voice.

"Jinhwan I gave you so many chances to come clean and to leave town, but you resisted," Jinhwan turns around to face Taehyung, "All you're doing is causing trouble, and I'm done with it," I bit my lip at his words. My mind is blank, and my heart is in the middle. Taehyung is expecting me to kill Jinhwan, but after what I heard tonight I don't know if I can. What do I do?

Jinhwan walks up to Taehyung and Namjoon immediately takes a step forward. This captures Jinhwan's attention and he laughs, "Is this your body guard?" His smile quickly goes away as he eyes Namjoon down, "Are you going to use your strength on me?" Namjoon tilts his head at his response. I feel Taehyung's eyes on me questioning if I told him anything about vampires, I shake my head confused at Taehyung. 

"Strength?" Namjoon asks, shortly after Jinhwan chuckles again. He nods in response and makes his way over to me. Taehyung takes a step forward watching Jinhwan carefully.

"Calm down Taehyung, Sunny is my friend remember?" Jinhwan speaks placing his hand on my shoulder. I felt shrivers down my spine from his actions, I couldn't tell if this was really him or the other him, "Yes, Namjoon, strength..." I froze not fighting the urge for my personal space. I look in front of me and laid my eyes on Taehyung, he looked worried that Jinhwan was going to hurt me, "Taehyung you acted so calm when you found out I knew about Sunny's secret...and thinking back to the first time we all hung out at her house, you made it quiet clear. The scratches on the wall, the blood in the bathroom...no wonder you didn't want me hanging out with her," Taehyung grinds his teeth at Jinhwan's words and Jinhwan walks over to Taehyung, "It was like you knew a little too much about her secret," Jinhwan stops walking right when he's in front of Taehyung, "Maybe that's because you're a vampire too," My eyes widens at his observations but Taehyung stays calm. He doesn't want to use his energy on him. Jinhwan turns his head and looks at Namjoon, "And the best friend who is trying so hard to help Sunny's secret stay safe...you're helping so you also don't get exposed, vampire," Namjoon looks away holding back his words. Jinhwan then turns his head at Uni before smirking, "See before, I truly thought you were trying to help your best friend, but after hearing that you were sleeping with..." He looks back at Taehyung and Uni looks away guilty, "...him, I really don't know why you are here. However, you aren't a vampire," 

Jinhwan then turns around and begins walking back to the desk when Taehyung gabs his arm and pulls him to his chest. He quickly wraps his arm around Jinhwan's neck and tightens the grip, "What is the point of this Jinhwan, you've made it clear you're upset so now what?" Jinhwan elbows Taehyung with his free hand making the grip around his neck free. He turns around to look at Taehyung who was holding onto his stomach. 

"I should be asking you!" He points at Taehyung, "I didn't ask you to dig around in my business!" 

"You were acting suspicious, and I didn't want any danger around Sunny," Taehyung sighs, "And I was correct," Jinhwan scoffs and places his hand on his hip and the other ruffling his hair.
