One month later
With Team Erza
Team Erza had just finished doing a request. They had to eliminate minor monsters that were terrorising people in the Mikage forest though it didn't take them long to defeat them all, there were many monsters and took a toll on their magic power so now they were basically out of it. Luckily for them Wendy was now back to assist.
They had finally gotten back to the guild after getting the reward from the client but when they got back inside Mira ran up to them and started asking questions out of the blue
"Why didn't you guys tell me"
"How could you"
"I thought we were friends"
"Welcome back, I hope your job went well"
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!!!!" Erza patted down on her head trying to calm her down
"What didn't we tell you?" She asked with a sweat drop rolling down her face, Mira pouted and pointed over towards the bar. Erza and the others looked to where she pointed only to see the demon who they now know as Natsu just casually sitting. Erza walked over to him and politely asked what he was doing here
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING" She asked as politely as she could. Though the demon gave her a questionable look
"Im pretty sure that I am sitting on this stool" Erza was not pleased with his sarcasm and sighed
"You know what I mean, why on earthland are you just casually sitting in our guild" Erza summoned a sword and pointed it at him "better yet, what are you plotting" she added making him mentally facepalm. He put his elbow on the bars bench and placed his head in his palm
"Just because I'm classed as the villain here doesn't mean that I'm plotting something" he added Erza wasn't entirely sure that he was telling the truth so she just stared at him intensely.
"So Mira What didn't we tell you" Lucy asked hoping Mira would understand but she assumed so because Mira started to giggle
"Are you gonna tell us" Gray asked getting impatient
"I was wondering on why you didn't tell me you found out his name" she replied only to get looks of stupidity from the two
'That's really it' they thought. Mira walked over to Erza and Natsu and offered them a drink but they both declined
"So demon what are you doing here" Gray asked only to get glares from everyone in the guild
"Firstly, I told you my name so I'd prefer it if you used that instead of demon or E.N.D it irritates me when people call me that, secondly I'm just here because I'm bored, there's nothing to do in Alvarez" he explained getting even more stares
"Alvarez? Isn't that on a different continent, and what are you doing there"
"Yep it's on a different continent and that is where Zeref rules over everyone, since he is the emperor" everyone's face dropped in disbelief Erza put away her sword that she was holding and put both her hands on his shoulders and her eyes went starry eyed
"So that's makes you a prince of sort right" her question puzzled him and replied with a "I guess so" Erza started to panic and kept questioning herself wether or not she should be bowing, but she couldn't do that since he was technically their enemy, everyone got sweat drops just watching her. Eventually she calmed down to the point when she was able to continue questioning Natsu
"So.... uh Mr....... Natsu, wait what's your last name I don't think I recall it"
'Duh that's because I never told you' he thought
"Dragneel. My name is Natsu Dragneel"
"Haaaaaaaaa" Levy yelled out of the blue getting everyone's attention. She ran up to Natsu and got right in his face
"Are you by any chance related to Alexa Dragneel" Natsu went wide eyed for a moment trying to comprehend on what she had just asked
"Alexa was my mother's name, though I'm curious as to how you know her" Levy started to squeal in excitement she was jumping up and down, flapping her hands hitting Erza in the process but she didn't take much notice. Eventually she calmed down enough to keep a strait face though she got back in his face
"Your mother's well known for her alchemy, I know all about her from all the books I read, is she really as amazing as they say, I mean they say that she was awarded for her alchemy"
"That's a lie" Natsu practically yelled getting a shocked look from Levy "It wasn't alchemy it was magic, but back then very few people had magic and anyone who was able to use magic was classed as a witch. Everyone resented my mother but they were too afraid to go anywhere near her, so instead of targeting her they went after us" everyone in the guild went quiet
"Us?" Wendy said aloud hoping not to spoil the mood even more. The demons eyes narrowed but not out of anger but of sadness instead
"Zeref and I" the guild gave questionable looks "You see Zeref and I are brothers" most of the guild went into shock. People threw random questions at him not that he answered any of them due to the noise that was being tossed around
'Is that really a shock' Natsu thought unsure on why their reactions are being so dramatic
"That means your as old as Zeref is and he's like over 400 right" Gray asked Natsu who was dodging a chair that came flying randomly at him
"Nah, Zeref is older than me, but only by 12 years"
"I see, but that doesn't explain how old you are"
"Well I'm 428 so that makes Zeref 440 I guess we are close in age if you think about it"
"YOUR 428!!!" Gray yelled so loud that Makarov came out of his office to shut him and everyone else up
"Hm? Is that really surprising, I understand that normal people don't live that long, but I find it quite irrelevant to get so astonished about it"
"It really is surprising, I bet living that long you'd get sick of everything after awhile" Lucy said with a small giggle at the end. Natsu turned his attention to the ceiling and thought about it for awhile before coming up with an answer
"Your right, life truely does get boring, it's even worse when your stuck with an absolute asshole for a brother" he sighed getting a slap on the head from Erza making him sit up from his position
"H-hey What was that for" he demanded from the knight
"Firstly, you shouldn't call your brother and asshole I'm sure he cares about you a lot"
'that's the problem' he thought'
"Secondly, i don't understand how you two could be blood related since E.N.D is supposed to be a demon that Zeref made" the atmosphere in the guild suddenly became heavy the demon did a small smile. He got up off the stool and walked to the couch in the corner of the guild and sat on it
"Take a seat, I'll tell you the story of how a human became a demon"
