Sting dragged Natsu to the waters edge. They could still the others but weren't close enough to hear or even talk to them.
"So man, your gonna participate right?" Sting asked Natsu who was uncertain as to why sting was being so carefree around him, and as to why he was being so friendly towards him
"Participate? I told you that I'm not apart of the guild and this is a guild competition is it not?" He replied irritated that he was dragged away beyond his will. Sting put his hands on Natsu's shoulders
'Why does everyone put their hand on my shoulders?' He thought
"Does that matter because I don't think it does, I mean you could always participate as a representative of the guild that would be okay" he said, Natsu getting slightly annoyed at his persistence "Rogue said that it was a guild competition but that doesn't mean that it's not not for guilds, anyone can enter"
'Wasn't you the one who said that it was a guild competition'
"I'm not exactly the "fight friendly" type, I could end up hurting someone if I were to participate" he paused "besides I'm sure that I wouldn't exactly be aloud to compete"
"If your a friend to Fairy Tail, I'm sure that they wouldn't mind you participating with them, so lighten up would ya" he slapped Natsu on the back causing him to grunt to the force that was put into it
"I'm not exactly a friend to them" Sting gave Natsu a confused look but he decided against asking him about it. Not a minute later and they were accompanied by Rogue who was lecturing Sting on his childish behaviour. Back with Fairy Tail most members had disbursed doing their own thing/ catching up with other
guild members. Makarov went over towards the other guild masters to see what the go was but when he got there He was confronted by a infuriated Jiemma. Makarov had a pretty good idea as to why he was so upset, so he started braising himself for what was to come next.
"Why is THAT DEMON HERE! He is a threat and must be eliminated this instant" Jiemma roared at him. Makarov sighed
"Don't worry about him he is no threat, in fact I dare do say that I'd treat him as my own. Though he has many things that he needs to learn and he is slowly adapting to this life but sometimes I do wonder what goes on in his head" Makarov said earning a threatening look from Sabertooth's guild master
"The hell you saying, why would you dare treat him like a common person? He is E.N.D the most dangerous demon from the books of Zeref and your welcoming him into your guild, he's not even his n chains or anything. Your too trusting Makarov and that itself makes you soft. You've lost your lack of judgement but don't worry I'll take care o him for you" Jiemma started walking towards the demon but was stopped by a giant hand
"Don't touch him, if you do there will be consequences" Makarov said slowly starting to emit magic power which didn't go unnoticed by some wizards. Jiemma huffed and back off but still giving Makarov a death glare
"You'll regret that Makarov" Jiemma walked away from the guild masters leaving them to themselves. Bob walked to Makarov and placed a hand on his shoulder smiling in the process
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure that he'll get over it sometime" Bob said though he knew that he was wrong. Everyone knew that Jiemma wasn't the kind of person to give up so easily and that's what they were concerned about. It was close to around midnight and the guilds started heading towards where they would be staying until the competition ends. They would be staying in little cabins the boys and girls obviously separated, the girls kept saying how cute they were and the boys were watching them squirm around gidding about the cabins. Eventually everyone went into the cabins besides Natsu who stayed outside and started to walk away from the cabin but not before Gray yelled out to him
"And where do you think your going?" Natsu stopped walking and turned around to Gray narrowing one of his eyes
"Not with you obviously" he replied, causing Gray to grunt and cross his arms. Gajeel eventually came out of the cabin as well yelling at the both of them
