The explosion caused the Fairy Tail members to fly across the cathedral each one of them hitting some sort of wall or support beam causing them to fall over and grunt in pain.
"Is that seriously all you fairies got, I'd seriously thought that you would've put up more of a fight" Natsu said cracking his knuckles "now that I think about it this is the first time that you actually seen my magic how lucky are you I wouldn't usually use magic for a trivial task such as this, you should be grateful fairies, grateful that your gonna die by my hands" he started to laugh like a maniac for a couple of minutes until he lost interest in it and he sighed 'how disappointing' he thought.
The first one to rise back of their feet was Erza who wasted no time in rushing towards the demon with a sword in her hand attempting to strike him which failed as he had caught the blade in one of his hands
"How could you do this I thought we were getting along quite well and then you do this to us, do you have no shame, do you have no humanity, do you have no trust in your friends" he flinched slightly and started to space out, Erza noticed this and kicked him hard in the torso sending him flying into the wall on the furthest end of the cathedral. Erza requipped into her Heavens wheel armour and aimed her sword directly at the demon who was getting up from the ground rubbing the back of his head
"Friends are worthless" he said shocking Erza who had strong beliefs in friendship, the other members of Fairy Tail who were knocked away by the demons explosion earlier rised back on their feet and met with Erza back in the middle of the cathedral "they only betray you in the end, they leave you alone they hurt you and most importantly they made you realise that the only true friend you need are the ones that help you. In my case that would be the animal's they are the only friends I need I have no intention of being betrayed again by a human, and if you have already forgotten it was your kind that did this to me, they are the ones who turned me into a monster and it is you who should pay. I won't make that mistake again" he said giving off a deadly aura which made the others put up their guard "it's all your fault that this is happening to your precious town, you should've heeded my warning from the very start, I helped you escape and what did you do to repay that, you kidnapped me locked me away and you continuously keep annoying me, this is ALL YOUR FAULT why on earthland couldn't you just leave me alone" he mumbled the last part but because of Wendy's advanced hearing she heard it.
She felt guilty for the demon and was about to say something until the demons started to cough up blood this made the group worried but they still stood their ground strong.
Natsu's POV
Dammit this couldn't possibly happened at a worse time but it's my fault for not wanting to have a syringe in my head.
'You okay?' Zeref asked telepathically I didn't want to respond but if I didn't I'd be on his bad side later and that wouldn't be very pleasant not to mention we are in the middle of a war
'Just fine' I was never really good at lying but I try to make it convincing
'Your a horrible liar you know that right' I pretty sure I sweat dropped
'Maybe'
'Hurry up and deal with the fairies then I can give you medicine' I grunted I really hated have syringes stuck in my head not that it hurt or anything it just feels quite uncomfortable I bet anyone would think that way. I looked back over to where the fairies are and they have the most pitiful expressions they looked like they pitted me I hate that look I want to rip it right off their faces then we'll see how pitiful they look.
"Who would've thought that the most dangerous demon of all time has an illness how pathetic" the blonde haired man said Loxus, Lixas, Laxus thats his name I think.
"Laxus I don't think it's a good idea to aggravate him" the brown haired man with a beard said
"Gildarts is right you know, don't piss the sick demon off" ice cube said and I'm not that sick
