Chapter 37 Treasure hunt Part 3

With Sting and Rogue

Fours hours had past since they had setted off in a different direction, though this time they were making sure that they don't get another fake flag, which wasn't going as well as they hoped, and that's because they keep running into fake flags. Sting wasn't the best at navigation. Right now they where (somehow) in a tree. Sting thought that he might've been able to see it from the tallest tree on the island and unfortunately for Rogue he was also forced to climb the tree and as luck would have it, he kept falling off. Though eventually they did make it to the top. They stayed up the tree for quite some time before Sting declared that they go down again. Sting got down with light a problem, Rogue on the other hand fell down.
"You good buddy? We wouldn't want you to get hurt now do we" Sting asked the poor Shadow Dragon Slayer who didn't look too satisfied

"I wonder" Sting couldn't see it but Rogue rolled his eyes "so tell me, where are we going now?" Sting could tell by the tone of Rogue's voice that he was annoyed

"Why don't we got that way, towards the river" he suggested but Rogue honestly couldn't care less on where they went as long as they stayed out of trees

"Very well then let's proceed ONWARDS!" he grabbed Rogues hand and began to run towards the river. (A:N poor Rogue) once again getting hit by branches and other object on the way there. 

With Yuka and Sherry

They were in trouble, they were running for their lives and you know why? Simple, because they were running from a pack of wolves that were chasing them. How they got into this situation was all Sherry's fault. She decided that she'd try to get back towards her "love" by herself and somehow ended up at a wolves den, and let's just say that wolves didn't appreciate Sherry's love. So now they are running as fast as they can just to not be eaten by them. It was going well until they fell of a cliff and landed in the water (should've watched were they were running, it didn't help that Yuka was dragging Sherry) neither of them were seen for the rest of the event.

With Hibiki and Eve

Three more hours had past, leaving only two hours left. Hibiki and Eve has arrived at the summit of the mountain but to their dismay, they couldn't find the real flag. All they found was a fake one. Hibiki didn't understand how his calculations were wrong, he'd usually get everything right. Him and Eve kept coming up with reason why the theory was wrong but neither of them could truely come up with anything. They were puzzled. Then Eve came up with a simple solution that broke the both of them for the event
"It was meerly a goose chase" he simply said causing both him and Hibiki to give up. It's not that they couldn't continue with the event. It's just that they thought that their since their ten hours were nearly up there wasn't much point in continuing further. They silently gave their regards to their guild and sat down for the remainder of the event.

With Gray and Natsu

They arrived at the river quite some time ago but they hadn't proceeded further. The river was a lot bigger than they thought it would be. Gray guessed that it would be about five hundred meters wide and they also assumed that it was deep. Gray couldn't see the bottom of it which made him somewhat nervous.
"So how do we plan on finding the damn flag, the current is going too fast to be able to swim in it, and we don't exactly know how deep it is, so we can't just go down and get it"
'It also doesn't help that the river goes from one end of the island to the other' Gray sighed in annoyance, he was quite clueless on how to find the thing.
"It could be anywhere"

"Why don't we just swim" Natsu asked clearly oblivious to what Gray Just said

"You idiot I just said that it's too fast to be able to swim in it" Gray got a tick mark, he couldn't believe that the demon would suggest that when it's impossible
