Three days had past since the events of the final round occurred. Everyone was still quite shocked to what had happened. But despite being shocked no-one had any nerve to bring up the topic. Natsu was still knocked out and was chained to one his room with Gray's Demon Slayer Magic.
Natsu started to regain conscious and started to open his eyes. Completely oblivious to the fact that he's missing one.
"What the hell happened, and why do I have a headache" he groggily said to no-one in particular.
'And why am I chained up' he thought trying to moves even an inch but was unable to because of the chains.
"How are you feeling?" Natsu turned his head to see Erza as well as the rest of her team behind. Each one of them was giving him odd stares he thought. He wasn't too pleased about being woken up in such a position but he knew they wouldn't have done it without a exceptionally good reason for doing so.
"How do you humans say it... like a train wreak" he answered getting a few snickers from the little group. He was still absolutely confused as to why he was in such a compromised position.
"So you gonna tell me why I am chained to a bed?" He asked. Erza and co looked a little shocked that he didn't remember anything that had happened days ago. Erza walked over to the drawers that were next to Natsu and gotten out a mirror and showed Natsu his reflection. Must to their curiosities he was just as shocked as they were.
"What the hell happened?" Not only was Natsu curious about his missing eye, but he was also curious as to why he was covered in his blood.
"Do you not remember?" Gray asked. Natsu had replied no. Erza explained to Natsu what had transpired throughout the final round. By the end of her explanation Natsu was no longer bound by chains. He didn't honestly looked quite shocked to how he had acted. Which confused the others to some extent.
"Who won the event?" He asked. He had closed sight right eye lid so the group didn't have to look at him without an eye there.
"Sabertooth. Lyon was too troubled to remain... calm I guess that's the right word to use. Fairy Tail was disqualified for... you know... what had transpired" Erza replied. Natsu let out a sigh. He was glad that no-one got hurt because of his actions. It was the best result that he could've asked for.
"So are you going to tell us why you started acted that why. Because that was obviously NOT normal behaviour for you, and that's saying lots" she added. Natsu on the other hand froze up at her request. He was not aloud to move until he explained Erza had told him.
"... I guess... I... uh..." he was scratching his head. He didn't know how to explain without causing them problems.
"By all means take your time, we're not in a hurry" she said as the red head took a seat on a wooden chair next to the bed. The rest of the group also decided to make themselves comfortable. Awaiting for Natsu's explanation.
"Correct me if I'm wrong but it's been over two years since Zeref died" Erza nodded
"Well I guess that means it's been over two years since I've had any medicine. And I guess it's also been that long since I've eaten anything proper" he added getting confused and dazed looks from the rest of the them.
"What medicine?" Lucy asked. Natsu sighed.
"Haven't I told you guys before. Hmmm. I thought I did. Never mind that. Technically I'm supposed to get a syringe stuck into head which is to help stabilise the lacrima in my chest since it's kinda un-stabilised. Let's just say it's a bit old. Every lacrima has a limit to how much and how long they can operate for, and mines beens working for over four hundred years so let's just say it's getting a bit overused. But don't worry the lacrima in my chest is made for long term use, so it's not gonna stop working for a while. Maybe in a couple hundred years but all I gotta do is replace it before then. So everything's just fine" Natsu explained getting looks of sympathy and pity for him. Which he absolutely despised.
"Don't pity me, there's nothing that anyone could've done to prevent this. Not even Zeref could fix me" he added
"I hate being pitied. So don't"
