Chapter 12 All because of eggs

With Zeref

Zeref and the passed out E.N.D arrived at the new location of their hideout since the other one was destroyed.

The new place is nothing like the abandoned mansion, due to the new place being a non-abandoned mansion on the outskirts of Magnolia. This was just one of the many hideaways that Zeref has, they had to moved regularly so that wouldn't be discovered. Once they got inside the new mansion Zeref went to E.N.D's new room and placed the unconscious demon on his bed. Zeref walked out of the room
"Get better soon brother" he said and closed the door, leaving the demon to his rest. A day went past since they arrived at the new hideout
Zeref walked until he got to his throne room, as he sat down the demons (excluding E.N.D) bowed down in front of him,
"My lord, what do you plan to do with the humans, that kept master locked up" Mard geer asked him having sweat rolling down his face

"Do nothing" he replied

" but my lord"

"DO NOTHING MARD GEER, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR" he bellowed, making Mard geer shut up and glanced his eyes to the ground, trying to not make eye contact with the furious wizard. The demons didn't move for minutes until Zeref told them to go, and they did without hesitation. Once they had all left the room Zeref let out a loud sigh and getting lost in thought, eventually he fell asleep without ever realising it.

E.N.D's POV

One minute I was in complete darkness, the next I was hit by a beam of light, which slowly made me open my eyes. I turned my head to the window which for some reason the curtains hadn't been closed, I mean what's the point of going to bed if you get awaken by light..... 'now that I think about it, I don't remember getting into a bed, I wonder where I am anyway' I got out of the bed and stumbled, once I had control over my feet again I walked over the the window and squinted my eyes as they were adjusting to the light, the first thing I noticed was that I wasn't anywhere near the fairies.

The environment was different to when I was trapped in that absolute horrendous guild, I opened the window to and it hit me, literally, a crow came flying through the window and smacked onto my face making me fall over which wasn't very pleasant and gave me a serious headache
"Owwww" I sat up and rubbed my head, the bird didn't look very thrilled to have had an encounter with my head, it sat on my head and started talking, he was saying something about how some humans have taken the eggs out of the nest, which is absolutely inexcusable, humans don't have the right to take what's not theirs, though currently I'm honestly more curious about how he knew at what moment to come through the window, sometimes I wonder about how animals process.

I decided to close the window and go to where Zeref was, since it was the middle of the day I was guessing that he was in his so called throne room. Once I had got there my intuition was correct Zeref was sitting on his chair however he clearly isn't awake. I started to shake him gently, but when that didn't wake him up I decided to shake him a bit more violently, he did wake up after that.

"STOP SHAKING ME, YOUR GIVING ME A HEADACHE" Zeref pleaded me, I didn't want to stop as a result of it amusing me, however I decided to stop since it saves me from getting into too much trouble later
"If you want to sleep, do it in your room, not in this one"

"Wow you really need to lighten up a bit, do yourself a favour and don't be so serious all the time you'll kill yourself if you do" he yawned

"If I recall, the first time I died I wasn't very serious and look where that's got me, stuck with a bunch of morons like you" Zeref's face was priceless and kinda sad at the same time. He looked guilty. I didn't feel too good at the moment either, I don't exactly like talking about my death
