Chapter 16 From human to demon

Flashback 428 years ago

"NATSU, ZEREF COME ON INSIDE PLEASE" Alexa (mom) yelled at her sons but as usual they weren't paying attention since they were too busy playing in the garden.
"Hurry Zeref-nii play with meee" the 6 year old Natsu pleaded the 12 year old Zeref who was trying to read his book. Zeref looked away from his book for a moment to glance over at Natsu who was throwing his ball up and down hitting himself in the face. Zeref giggles quietly and continued to read his book trying not to pay attention to him
"Not now Natsu play by yourself, I want to finish this book" he said trying not to be too harsh, since he knew how precious Natsu was

"NOOOOOO PLAY WITH MEEEEEEEE NOOOOOOOWWW" he jumped on top of Zeref causing him to drop his book and roll along the grass. Both of the boys ended up laughing until they were out of breath 
"Wow you two sure are a bundle of joys, but maybe you should be more careful, your mum and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you" a man towered over the two as they were laying on the ground. Natsu jumped into the mans arms with little warning

"Daddy, Zeref-nii and I were playing" he giggled though the father was pulling faces as Natsu was tugging on his hair

"I can see that, but your mothers been calling you for a while now, do I propose that you both head inside and clean up before bed" he took The clinging Natsu inside and Zeref grabbed his book before proceeding in as well. After the boys baths they went into their separate rooms the father went to tuck Natsu in and the mother went to comfort Zeref who was already trying to relax though due to the fact that dad and Natsu were being too loud it made it quite difficult to relax completely
"Why are those two always so loud" Zeref said to himself not knowing that his mother was there. She walked up to him and sat down on the bed and started to stroke his head
"That's just how they always are, you know that, besides you were like that when you were younger" Zeref gave a slight pout wanting to deny it but he knew better than to argue with her but he knew that he wasn't going to win this round. She tucked him in and gave him a kiss in the forehead.
"Oh and honney"

"Hm"

"Your father and I will be out tomorrow so make sure that you look after your brother okay" Zeref put his thump up as he was too tired to respond. She said her last goodnight and closed the door. Leaving Zeref to rest.

The next morning

"Okay you two we'll be back later tonight. Natsu listen to Zeref and stay out of trouble" Natsu nodded his head "okay boys we'll see you two later, we love you" the parents said their goodbyes and headed off leaving the brothers behind
"Zeref-nii your gonna play with me right?" He asked giving Zeref the irresistible puppy eyes.

*sigh "fine I'll play but only until lunch" he grabbed Natsu's small hand and leaded him to the backyard were they'd spend the entire morning playing. Not long after that they went back inside because Zeref was being a downer while playing since he wasn't as energetic as his younger brother was. Hours had past and the boys were doing there own thing Zeref was reading his book as he usually does and Natsu was playing with his crayons that was until someone knocked at the door. The six year old boy put down his crayons and walked towards the door. Rarely would someone come close to the house let alone knock on the door so he was a bit sceptical to answer it but he didn't want to disturb Zeref while he was reading. Since he gets cranky  when he gets interrupted.
"H-hello" the little boy said as he opened the door. He had to stand on a chair since he couldn't reach the knob almost falling off. He peeped his out from the door to see four men. One of them bent down to Natsu's level since he had gotten off the chair
"Why hello little one, where your parents" He asked Natsu who just shook his head
