"Goodbye, dear. Try not to get into any trouble again," The short, elderly school nurse smiled gently, making sure Hiko's medication was in her bag, "and don't forget to take two pills a day."

"Thank you very much." Hiko thanked Recovery Girl, slowly walking out of the medical room.

'Ugh, fifteen minutes of walking on my own.' Hiko thought to herself, walking towards the bus stop nearby, 'but I could catch the bus.'

"Hey Hiko, what are you standing around for?!" A familiar voice shouted out towards his friend, knocking Hiko out of her trance.

"Oh, hi Okami. I was wondering if I should get the bus home instead of walking." She said nervously, her antennae sending small vibrations down her spine, but there wasn't any danger in sight.

"Then you can catch a ride with us!!" Okami moved away from the window and Kugutsu waved, keeping her eyes fixed on her phone.

"Are you sure? Because I could just walk to-"

"Oh don't worry sweetheart. Just get in already!" A woman sitting behind the wheel pulled her sunglasses down, opening the passenger side door for her son's friend to enter.

"Thank you." Hiko sat down quietly, placing her bag on her lap, holding it, and pulling out her phone. Then they took off.

"This is my postcode." Hiko showed her phone screen to Okami's mother, who took no notice.

"Don't worry sweetie, I already know where you and Kaiyo live. Grumpy over there has been round the house plenty of times." She pointed to her son, who rolled his eyes. Kugutsu rested her head on his shoulder and her arm was wrapped around his.

"Grumpy?" Hiko barely contained her laughter.

"Yeah, that's what I used to call him when he-" She smiled.

"Can we talk about something else? Something less embarrassing." Okami growled.

"HAH-" Hiko covered her mouth immediately, "sorry!"

The car went silent for a few moments before Kugutsu brought something up with great delight.

"Stain, the hero killer, has recently been defeated by the number 2 hero Endeavor, and successfully arrested by the police. He will be sent to Tartarus and locked up for the rest of his life."

Hiko noticed Okami and his mother's smiles morph into scowls.

"Stupid Endeavor. I should've been the one to do it." Kugutsu noticed a tear forming on the edges of Okami's eyes so she used her blazer sleeve to wipe them away.

"Just be thankful he's been arrested so he can't hurt anyone else's families." She pulled out a cigarette, the car window sliding down, and lit it to relieve stress.

"Miss Toboe, you both seem upset. Did something happen?" Hiko picked green pollen from her left antenna and pink pollen from her right one, mixing them together and rubbing it on Miss Toboe's arm (don't worry, they're at traffic lights).

"A couple of years ago, Okami's father...my husband...was on duty. The hero killer wasn't that well known back then, but his ideals stayed the same. We received the news that my husband had been killed a few days later, after they were able to put a face to the body." The car began moving again, this time at a surprisingly fast speed compared to last time.

"I'm sorry for your loss." Hiko reached back and placed a hand on Okami's knee to comfort him.

"There's no point in being sorry." Okami sniffled. His head rested on Kugutsu's shoulder, her head resting on top of his. She showed him a funny picture of an Endeavor doll without the flames which cheered him up a litte.

"Is this the house you mean?" Okami's mother pointed out at the house in front of them. A silver  car was in the driveway.

"Uh, yes thank you." Hiko stuffed her phone into her blazer pocket, opening the car door and swinging her bag over her shoulder as she stepped out.

She didn't recognise the car in any way. The door  to the house was left open which created a small pit of fear.

"Hello?" Hiko called out, fists clenched.

"Oh you must be Hiko! Kaiyo told us all about you while we were away!" A tall woman with navy blue hair ran down the stairs, hugging Hiko as tightly as possible without crushing her.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Kaiyo's mom but you can call me Saya. That slouch is my husband, Fuji." A hand waved from the sofa.

"I didn't think you were coming home until tomorrow." Hiko's antennae vibrated again but there was still no danger.

"Don't think I didn't see that. They just vibrated didn't they? Is it a defence mechanism? Or does it happen when you get nervous?!" Saya's eyes lit up brilliantly.

"It only happens as a defence mechanism but they seem to be off today." Hiko's face went red. Nobody except Nejire ever asked that many questions to her. Better yet, no-one has ever seen Hiko's antennae vibrate before.

"I see. And what about those wings of yours, can I see them?!" Fuji yawned from the couch, lifting himself up to greet Hiko.

"I...can't right now. Someone sorta destroyed them and they're regenerating right now." Hiko said with nervous laughter to cover up her pain. Moving her back, specifically her shoulder blades, at all caused a strangely large amount of pain.

"Was it Okami?" A deep voice boomed from behind Saya, a large hand reaching out for Hiko to shake.

"Not exactly."

"Surprising. I'm Fuji, nice to meet you. Do you want a cup of tea or coffee?" He grumbled, filling the kettle up with water and grabbing two mugs from the cupboard.

"No thank you."

"Just me and you then Saya." He placed his hand on the kettle and the water inside immediately started boiling. He felt no pain from the scorchingly hot kettle.

"That's fine by me! I've put out some clean clothes on Kaiyo's bed for you. I didn't want to go into your room without you saying it was okay." Saya moved her hand and the water from the kettle followed, plunging into the mugs.

"Thank you very much." Hiko bowed and briskly walked up the stairs, leaving Kaiyo's parents to their own devices.

"Honey, I have a work call in an hour and a half." Fuji sipped his coffee.

"You do? I'll hurry and move all my sewing equipment upstairs so I don't disturb you." Saya placed her mug down, grabbing as much sewing equipment as she could and hurried up the stairs towards the master bedroom.

'Good, because this one might be the most important call in my career.' He thought, taking another sip from his cup of coffee.

Thank you for reading this chapter of Butterfly Kisses. I mainly wrote this because I wanted to finally include some students' parents (specifically Kaiyo's) and add a little bit of backstory/history on Okami's character. I just thought introducing his mother and only his mother was a good way to do that.

Before anyone says anything, I know Stain was defeated by Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki and Tenya Iida but, because they hadn't gotten their provisional hero licenses at that point and there were burns on Stain's body, the police decided it would be best if Endeavor became the one who defeated him.

Anyways, SEE YA-
