Chapter 3: Training Camp Begins

"Hey Hiko! Can I sit next to you on the bus? I don't think Tamaki wants to" the cowlick haired boy shouted from the other side of the gate, startling both her and a certain other shy boy who sat in a corner, waiting for everyone else to get there.

"Um. No, I mean yes! I don't know. I-If no-one else will then s-sure, I guess."

The beady blue orbs that stayed fixed on her nodded silently, and just like that, the bus arrived.

"Alright everyone!! Who's ready to rumble? Let me hear you say yeah!!"

No-one replied.

"Alright," the started explaining, "everyone get into a single file line and make your way to the back of the bus. Feel free to sit next to whoever you want during the journey cause it's gonna take a couple of hours, yeah!"

"Hey, um... Mirio?" Hiko shyly asked, looking around for any possible indication that the kitten wasn't alone.

Blondie shot forward and replied almost immediately, "Yes, Hiko?" 'He had to say that so loudly didn't he?' Ah well, it's not as if anyone would take any notice, especially since she was with him. No-one wanted to upset or startle her, surprisingly. Assuming he realised his mistake as soon as he made it, Hiko continued.

"D-does Tamaki have a person to sit with? He...seems alone," she sheepishly asked while still looking around to confirm her suspicions. He was all alone, with no friends or relatives to sit next to. Saddened, Hiko went over to try and spark a conversation, but was abruptly interrupted by Mirio.

"Sorry but I don't think that's a good idea at the moment. Could you two talk a couple days later? I think Tamaki would like that more." The slightest sorrow in his voice filled the air around them.

Hiko responded immediately, although there was a soft quiver in her voice,"W-Why? Is something wrong? It's me, isn't it? I-I-It's always my fault. I'm such a c-clutz. If I hadn't ran away yesterday then-"

"Hey, hey calm down," Mirio spoke softly, making sure not to provoke fear or worry in Hiko,"You didn't do anything wrong, it's all in your head. Y'know, you do sound a lot like Tamaki when he thinks he's done something wrong."

"I-I do?!"

"And we're off!! Make sure you have everything, because you won't get a chance to come back, yeah!"

The bus started up immediately, travelling through many woods and forests covered in bright fauna before it arrived at the designated destination. A beautiful, open plateau surrounded by a mountain range and engulfed in a thick forest.

"Everyone off the bus, time to meet your trainers, yeah!" Present Mic said 'calmly'. As everyone got off the bus (Tamaki being last), they were greeted by a pair of female felines.

"Lock on with these sparkling gazes!"

"Stingingly cute and catlike!"

"Wild, Wild...Pussycats!" They said while striking a slightly off-putting pose.

Mandalay: Quirk, Telepath! She can speak to multiple people at once!

Pixie-Bob: Quirk, Earthflow! She can control the earth she touches and manipulate it however she wants! It's great for clearing out rocks and debris when on missions!

"We're gonna be training you guys for the next few days! I hope you're ready to get broken down and built back up." Mandalay snickered with an intimidating tone.

One of the students, a small female with tufts of hair protruding from her head replied, "Hey, that wasn't what we were told! Let's get back onto the bus!"
