*One hour before the rescue operation

'Miss kitty should be okay. I've left food and water for her.' Aizawa smiled while wrapping his binding cloth around his neck. As he was fixing his golden glasses he noticed no other sounds. Not even a purr or a creak.

'She must be out on a walk. She'll be back soon.' He thought, locking his door behind him.

*Present day

"Hiko, this'll be your first ever fight. It'll be tough but we've got your back." Snatch turned his head to face her, smiled, then turned back.

"Okay listen up! Mockingbird, Erasure Head, Hawks, Best Jeanist and seven officers will enter the building and get Soraia Aiko out. Hiko, Tancho, Snatch and Cementoss as well as the rest of the police force will stay out here in case any try to escape. Create a perimiter around the area, block off all entry points and exits." Cheif Tsuragamae explained, taking barely any breaths. "The last thing we want is for people to escape."

Cementoss crouched down, touched the ground and the concrete immediately flared into life, shredding the front wall of the building apart. Mockingbird rode the wave into the compound. Hawks flew in, his feathers carrying the police into the building. Aizawa and Best Jeanist where running behind them as they hurried down the corridors.

"Four paths. Each hero will take two officers." The chief said through com link.

Down the paths they went but they came across no barriers. It was too quiet, too easy. However, the inside was far different from the outside. Multiple armoured vehicles showed up. Each person who stepped out wielded a gun aimed at the heroes and police. What the bad guys didn't know was that Tancho existed. Out from underneath them erupted pillars, each forming a hand that clutched their weapons. Hiko flew up into the air firing yellow pollen at them, rendering them unable to move. Not ten minutes passed and they had been subdued.

Suddenly, the compound burst into flames, forcing the heroes to stand back.

*Two minutes earlier

"Soraia, you're safe now." Erasure Head said, untying the barely conscious student and lifting her onto his back.

"I've got her." Scarlet feathers pinched Soraia's clothing, lifting her off the ground.

As the group turned back towards the exit five soldiers crashed through the wall.

"Go." Mockingbird said, drawing two batons from her sleeves. "That's an order."

Before they headed out the door, Jeanist dragged three of the guards out the window leading onto a pillow of concrete. As soon as they left the room she sprung into action. Floating like a butterfly...stinging like a bee. Dodging every attack and striking with the force of ten, being hit with just one punch would incapacitate any unfit person. Not even twenty seconds had passed and yet... she'd come out unscathed.

Suddenly, the compound burst into flames, forcing the backup squad to stand back. Hawks jumped through the flames along with Jeanist, Aizawa and a now unconscious Soraia. Mockingbird emerged not two seconds later with a captive.

"Iwahada I'm assuming. You're coming with us."

"Why save one life at the risk of so many others?" Iwahada asked, his eyes examining Hiko.

"When the wolf attacks the sheep," Mockingbird glared, throwing him into the dirt, "it risks getting shot by the shepherd."

"Mess with one of us, you mess with us all." Chief Tsuragamae added while shoving the scientist into the truck. Despite all that the scientists eyes stay fixed on Hiko, watching her every move.

Hiko was in a state of shock sat on the ground.

'I-I...I...I feel like I know him from somewhere.' Those thoughts drilled into her head and filled it. Everything to do with him sent shivers down her spine.

"Get Soraia to the hospital, now."

"So, Mockingbird, you did really well out there. Mind telling me your real name?" Hawks tried making small talk, but to know effect.

"I don't have one." The brunette replied, getting up and walking towards the chief. The scientist became more distant as the truck drove further away.

*One hour later

Crash!! One truck on its side, three escort vehicles on their backs. No survivors...except one. The doors to the truck flew open.

"Iwahada. Did you get a good look at the girl? Having an entire rescue mission was a bit overkill just to see her don't you think?" The masked man said. Every word that came out of his mouth seemed intimidating.

"The rescue operation was needed. She's even more beautiful than I imagined." He replied.

"Does she remind you of anyone?" He asked.

"Her mother...the woman I killed."
