"I'm going too?" Hawks yawned, rubbing his eyes.

"Only for the first day and then you're coming back here." The police chief hung up immediately.

"Great, just when I thought I was gonna sleep in." Scarlet wings stretched outwards, as did his arms. He looked in his mirror, messy blonde hair ruffled out of his face.

'I was gonna wear my favourite shirt but I guess I'm not doing that anymore.' The number three hero yawned again.

Bright feathers pulled his black shirt, with a golden pattern, off of his chair and onto the bed. A waft of burnt toast entered the room, Hawks rushing off his feet.

"Shit!" He ran down the stairs, almost tripping over his own feet, got to the toaster and was met by two black, smoking slabs.

'Why does this day seem to be getting worse?' He groaned, spreading plenty of butter over one of the slabs to mask the burnt taste.

"Still as good looking as ever." He winked to himself in the mirror, "How am I not married yet?"

Feathers pulled his shirt over his slim and narrow build, more feathers carefully picking up his gloves.

"Ah, who am I kidding? My back isn't broad enough. A relationship would be too much to handle anyway." He fixed his visor over his eyes with black gloves.

"You take a long time to get changed." Mockingbird snickered from the open window; Hawks yelped in surprise and almost fell over.

"How long have you been there?!" He stuttered, full of embarrassment.

"Long enough. You're right, your back isn't broad enough. Your personality doesn't help." She helped herself into his room, now sitting on his extremely comfortable bed.

"Are you going to Aurea too?" He asked.

"No but I'm here to make sure you're ready in time."

"Like what you see?" Hawks grinned, stretching on purpose.

"You're disgusting, you know that?" Mockingbird covered her eyes in disgust.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." The hero moved his visor again.

"No, I didn't. I wake up on the same side of the bed every morning."

"Okay well... I'm clearly ready so you can go now," Hawks paused, "unless you want to spend some time together."

"I'll pass. Get to the dock or I'll take you there by force." She climbed through the window and jumped, landing perfectly on the ground.

The hero sighed, still embarrassed, but made an effort to walk downstairs, quickly eat his extremely burnt toast and fly out of the door.

'That was disgusting.' He thought.

"Hiko, Tancho, I want you two to stay together on this mission, understood?" Snatch said to his trainees. Hawks, Death Arms and Takeshita (Death Arms and Takeshita are canon heroes) were getting ready on the boat. Haru noticed Hiko getting ready to board, so she made an attempt to sneak on board but Hawks caught her.

"Sorry miss but you shouldn't be here." Keigo leaned against a steel beam.

"I was told to board this ship in secret by Mockingbird so I did. You wouldn't want to annoy her, would you?" Haru replied, also leaning against a steel beam.

"That...yeah that's a fair point. Well, just don't let anyone else see you. This'll be our little secret." Hawks winked before flying off and perching on the highest point on the ship.

"You seem excited." Tancho sighed with heavy bags under his eyes.

"And you don't seem like you got any sleep." Hiko giggled.

"Mind your own business."

"Okay, jeez. So...are you excited too or not?" She stared at him, awaiting an answer.

"A little. I just want to get this done as quickly as possible." Tancho covered his mouth as he yawned. A metal door opened and he slipped through it to find somewhere to nap.

"AND WE'RE OFF!!!" The captain of the ship boomed loudly, the vessel immediately taking off, cutting through frothy water.

Hiko ran over to the edge of the ship and leaned over to look at the brilliantly clear water. A sharp, sudden pain flew through her back as her wings vibrated and grew slightly. They were only half the size they were before being ripped off.

"What are you staring at?" Hawks caught her by surprise and she nearly fell off, but Hawks caught her just in time. "You want to go home?"

"Uh, no not really I just...you caught me by surprise." Her face turned bright red.

"Yeah, that happens a lot. Great view isn't it?" The two of them looked towards the horizon, a sea of water and a sea of clouds, both seemed to part for the warm glow of sunlight.

"It's beautiful." Her phone flashed; she looked at the screen and smiled at its beauty.

"I'd love it more if it wasn't..." He peeked over Hiko's shoulder to check the time, "5:57 in the morning."

"Yeah, it is pretty early." Her phone immediately began vibrating, Kaiyo's name lit up on the screen. Hiko excused herself and answered the call.

"Whoa look at that!" Hiko radiated pure happiness as the island's port city came into view.

"Be on your guard. We don't know a lot about this place." Death Arms uncrossed his arms.

"Relax, it's probably no big deal. Besides, as long as I'm here, you'll be alright." Someone's face suddenly appeared to greet them.

"You must be Hawks, a pleasure to meet you." A white gloved hand shook Hawk's similarly gloved hand. The man's hands, legs and torso appeared quickly after greeting the winged hero.

"There is no need for you to wait for the ship to dock. If you all hold onto each other I'll take you to the palace." Everyone held onto each other, the man holding onto Hawk's hands. A large bubble of energy appeared around them, and Haru quickly dove in just as the other's teleported to the palace.
