"Hah! And you're supposed to be the guy who will protect me? That's hilarious." A woman with gorgeous features laughed as loud as she could upon seeing Snatch in front of her.

"I don't like that attitude, and I am in charge of protecting you until this prophecy happens. If you don't like it then you can take it up with your king." Snatch replied.

"The king has no power over this desert diva (a self-important person who is temperamental and difficult to please, in this case)." She flicked her hair back to signal for Snatch to leave.

As he was leaving, everyone in the room stared at him which made him extremely uncomfortable.

"Lady Ikari, maybe you're too hard on him?" One of the women spoke.

"Of course not. He's a man, he can take it. Now," Ikari got up from her chair and stretched her arms, "I'm going out to train for the princess' prophecy."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hyah!" Although there were no clouds in sight, green lightning struck the ground in front of the diva. The result was a giant crater in the sand, just as Ikari had thought. She'd mastered her quirk to be the best it could be. Unlike everyone before her, who could only use their quirk once a day, Ikari pushed past her limits and increased the destructive capabilities of her power.
"If you're that focused then you won't be able to spot an assassin sneaking up behind you." Ikari turned immediately and saw Snatch standing there.
"Fight me," She demanded, "to prove your worth."
"If I win?"
"You earn my respect. If you lose, you leave me alone."
Both of them got into fighting stances. Ikari immediately snapped her fingers but Snatch melted into the sand, reappearing behind her without a scratch.
"Only one lightning strike left, right?" He said before disappearing again.
Sand was hurled into Ikari's face from all directions, practically blinding her. Since Snatch was one with the sand, she couldn't hear his movements clearly. The sand still shifted as he moved but the noise was insignificant, and he was too fast for her to catch. Then a lightbulb went off in her head, a brilliant idea came to mind. All she had to do was wait for the perfect moment.
Snatch lunged at her, his face being the only visible thing. His entire body fell on top of her as sand, making her unable to move. This was Ikari's perfect moment. She snapped her fingers, smirking, and green lightning flew down on top of them. Snatch became one with the sand again so Ikari was the only one affected but it didn't damage her. It enhanced her. A green electrified aura made her eyes glow, lightning bounced around in her hands. Every time she stretched her hands out, jade bolts jumped at the area in front of her and almost caught the sand hero but he was just quick enough to avoid her ruthlessness.
Snatch was lying in the sand, almost unconscious, while Ikari bathed in victory. She was kind enough to hold her hand out to him.
"You fought well." She patted the hero's back toughly.
"I have a promise to keep. I'll leave."
"Nonsense!" She laughed, "You fought very well! And unlike other men, you have the decency to leave me alone. Come, let me show you to your apartment."
A few silent minutes of treading through soft, flowing sand ended abruptley.
"Why do you enjoy fighting so much?" Snatch asked.
