Four years later...

They said, love is sweet. Love is enchanting. Love is a beautiful masterpiece that this world can make you feel.

But at the same time, it is also bitter, tragic and painful. Because what's the sense of loving if you could only see the sunshines and not the sunsets?

Before, I always adore the sunrise for it gives a new beginning. A symbolism of a new start, a new life, a new heart.

But after that last sunrise with him, I realized that not all sunrise could mean a start of a new beginning because for us, it was a symbolism of our tragic ending.

"Andy!"

My smile widened upon seeing my two best friends. Mabilis akong dinambahan ni Arielle at wala akong nagawa kung hindi ang makitawa sa kanilang dalawa ni Amara. We are all adults now, but seeing them again made me feel young again.

"I missed you!" Arielle exclaimed exxagretaly.

"I missed you too." Amara and I said both in unison.

Nasa bahay kami nina Amara ngayon. For years, finally nakumpleto din kami. Because after years of running away, Arielle finally went home.

At nakaka miss din pala ang babaeng to. Amara and I rarely sees each other but atleast, she's just within my reach. Unlike Arielle who totally run away from everything.

And then I wonder why she did that?

Does it really hurt that much that she chose to leave than to stay?

Huminga ako ng malalim at pilit na ngumiti habang nakikisabay sa usapan nila. Napunta ang usapan namin kay Tyrell. Arielle and I got both insensitive for talking about him in front of Amara but Amara didn't mind that though.

Hanggang sa napunta na yung usapan sa kasal. Ate Thylane got married already kaya naman pinag-iisipan na kung sino ulit ang sunod na ikakasal.

We all laughed teasing each other when they point me as the one who will get married next.

"Bakit ako?" defensive na tanong ko.

"Shocked ka? E happy ang lovelife mo!" Arielle teased. Umirap na lang ako at binalik ang usapan kay Amara. And I succeed when Isaac eventually called her.

Nagpatuloy pa yung pag-uusap naming tatlo. I just can't put into words how overwhelming this feeling is now that they are both here.

Parang bumalik lahat ng highschool and college memories namin. All the things that brought us to what we are now. They all keep on coming back.

At the end, Arielle and I both decided on coming home when Kate got home.

Ihahatid daw ako ni Arielle since nag cab lang din ako papunta dito sa village nina Amara. And pabor na din sakin kasi galing pa akong work.

"So how's life?" biglang tanong ni Arielle. Binalingan ko sya at binigyan ng isang nagtatakang ekspresyon.

"Kung makapagtanong akala mo di tayo nalulunod sa kwento kanina ah." pang-aasar ko. Umirap sa akin si Arielle kaya napailing na lang ako.

"I'm just asking. Bawal ba?" tanong nya pa. Natawa naman ako. Between the two of us, I should be the one asking her. But since she asked, I better answer her.
