He left but I felt he swept a glance at my back before going and that incited a chill to run down my spine making me quickly shut my eyes and calm down.

The sad reality is no matter what, he's only using me to get Jia jealous but I couldn't stop thinking about the moment that caused a few minutes ago. I stood almost naked and the only barrier between his robust chest and me was the thin towel.

My heart throbbed rapidly that it skipped a beat. His looks have changed drastically. He speaks coldly which frosts up the entire surrounding and makes me nervous but his deep brown eyes are still the same that give warmth though his face is always tight with dark expressions.

I slipped into some comfortable clothes and rolled clumsily on the bed. As I relaxed myself taking a deep breath, my gaze stopped at the agreement Jimin handed before leaving.

I was too tired but still thought of taking a look at it. I stretched to clasp those papers and started to turn the pages. A few of them consisted of our wedding agreement that lasts for six months while there were some conditions mentioned as well.

"Park Jimin will respect every decision and will not own any properties owned by Kim Ara or her family," I read out loud as that gave me satisfaction. At least, with this marriage, he wouldn't try to hurt my father via any means.

"Park Jimin will provide every essentiality or any type of comfort material that Miss Kim Ara pleases to have," I read as I ceased my brows.

Why would he try to provide materialistic comfort to me when I didn't even ask?

Every point consisted of all the luxury material he'd provide me in these six months but something didn't feel right. All I had in mind is his evil tricks to humiliate me but something feels odd.

I turned the page as some expectations were mentioned.

-"Kim Ara cannot expose her relationship with Park Jimin to anyone."

-"Miss Kim Ara surrenders herself completely to Mister Park Jimin."

There were only two conditions. The first one was something I expected but I wasn't clear about the second one.

My mind was racing with wild thoughts about the second condition and his low voice kept clouding my mind when he said, "I'll mend all your scars."

In the end, I fell asleep in a daze.

Next morning, I asked Mrs Lee for some clothes but all she had were a few pretty summer dresses which wouldn't be a good option to wear in an office.

Running out of any choice, I picked up the light pink floral summer dress and took a cab to Park's corporation.

The entire time, my eyes kept searching for Jia or Scott but they were nowhere to be seen. I thought about apologizing to Jia but couldn't find her.

The day was somewhat similar to every day. The only difference in me was the diamond ring though I removed it before entering the office since I had to follow the first condition.

I got a call from Mrs Bakes who is my previous boss and also my best friend. She owns a library and I worked there as a part-timer and her assistant. She's in her thirties and is an amazing woman who's currently on her fourth husband and still feels she hasn't met her soulmate.

It's been a month since I left the job and she wanted me to visit the library and meet her.

By evening, I was done with my work. I quickly mailed all the files and some new ideas to Mr Min and headed to his cabin to hand over some new documents that consisted of ideas for the advertisement of the company.
