That's how Celeste Black found herself in Theo's embrace in hysterics. "H ─ How did he enter the school grounds? I thought Hogwarts was a safe place," she murmured. She looked up and blinked, tears falling down. "I ─ Is Harry okay?"
Minerva felt her heartbreak for the poor girl. Here she was in shambles yet the first thing she's concerned about is Harry.
"Mr. Potter is fine, what matters is that you get to the Great Hall immediately for your protection. You shouldn't feel concerned for that imbecile." Professor Snape sneered. The fact that Black mentioned Potter made his return back to his usual behavior. Although he didn't like Black, he couldn't deny that Celeste was his top student and the child of his unrequited love.
Before he feared for Celeste's wellbeing and now he wondered if Sirius Black was looking for his niece.
"Don't speak to her in that tone," snapped Remus. He wanted to go over there and rip Theo away and embrace his lost goddaughter.
Except Celestes wasn't aware of their relation that Remus Lupin was basically her honorary uncle.
"I'm merely looking after one of my snakes, Lupin." retorted Snape.
"Professor! Instead of arguing, can we get back to what we should do about Celeste's well-being? You're acting like children!" Draco shouted in annoyance. He was tired of their squabble.
"Says the literal child himself," remarked Theo. The platinum blonde jabbed his side with his elbow.
Professor McGonagall silently thanked Malfoy. "As Mr. Malfoy pointed out, Celeste is related to Sirius Black, therefore he might be looking for her next after what happened to the Fat Lady."
"Is the Fat Lady okay?" asked Celeste in a small voice.
"Who cares about that awful portrait, she sounds horrible" Blaise uttered, earning a highly amused look from Snape.
"Remus guided Celeste away from Theo and placed his hands firmly on her shoulders. "Every House is going to sleep in the Great Hall. Sirius Black is no longer in the castle so don't worry, and the Fat Lady is alright."
He found it amusing and sweet that Celeste worried over a painting. Then again, he heard the Fat Lady was a bit livid as well.
"Go get changed while we inform the others okay?" Remus reassured once more and Celeste went downstairs of the Slytherin common room where her individual quarters are.
Draco sighed and went to the designated boys' quarters which were on the other side of the room downstairs.
Once the Professors were along it was Remus who broke into laughter which surprised the other teachers
