Dorota brought in some tea and biscuits to the sitting area.  Fifteen minutes passed away and the two reunited cousins sat in silence. Every once in a while Primrose would send her a small optimistic smile and Celeste would respond with a strained one. 

In the span of forty-eight hours and possibly more, she traveled back to her mother's childhood home in hopes to find sanctuary to heal herself from all the pain that happened last year. 

Everything was so great until the fight between Harry and her which caused Ron to sort of distance himself as well. Hermione thankfully was by her side but it didn't help that they were both in different Houses. 

"Your tea's going to get cold. Miss Reyna loved chai with her biscuits. But Mr. Regulus likes black coffee and beignets. Dorota didn't know what to bring,"

She placed the dishes on the coffee table and a pitcher of coffee and another for the tea. The bagels and apple juice are probably for Prim. 

"I know this must be strange for you," Prim began to break the silence. 

Celeste arched a brow in irritation, "Oh really? It's not every day I run away from home, travel to the place my mother grew up and now here I find my dead cousin my the freakin living room!"

"And Dorota!" piped the elf. 

"And Dorota," Celeste added. 

Primrose smiled a bit in sadness, "The reason for my disappearance goes way back to the point of what happened between my mother's twin, Johnathan Jasper, or what everyone calls him Jasper De Martel."

"Dorota knows them better, seeing as she's seen our parents grow up in this house." Prim took a bite of her bagel, "Aunt Rey, mum, and Jasper were tight-knit until they began going to Hogwarts. Your mum was still a little girl when they graduated."

"What happened to them?" Celeste asked, "If they were so close, then what did Jasper do to Aunt Andrea?

Primrose's voice held a hint of venom, "He killed my parents."

Celeste's heart dropped. "He did what?"

"Of course, he got carted to Azkaban. Aunt Rey made sure of that."

Realization dawned the Black, "Mum arrested him." she didn't know whether to feel shocked or feel bad for her mother and Aunt. Reyna had to arrest the murderer of her sister's family only to find out her older brother Jasper was the one to do it. 

The Black was rendered speechless but opened her mouth, "How did you survive then?"

Primrose had a slight smile on her face, "Funny story actually. When The Dark Lord ordered the Rushman's family massacre, our maternal grandfather Silas learned what Jasper was about to do. He rescued me from the fire that he created and ever since I've been living here in this mansion." 

Celeste's face softened a bit at the mention of her grandfather and became cold, "Wasn't Aunt Andrea disowned? Why would Grandfather Silas save you?"

She shrugged, "The feeling of guilt is a powerful thing. He feels responsible for how the De Martel turned out. He may have saved me, but that didn't mean I forgave him for all the damage he caused toward Aunt Rey and mum." 

"He's been in St. Mungos a year after he saved me. My guardian happens to be the Delacour family's head of House Claude Delacour."

St. Mungos? 

This whole time she had two family members out in this world. 

"I suggest visiting Grandfather later in a couple of months. I recall that there are people looking for you. The De Martel estate is protected with wards and enchantments. You'll be safe here as long as you don't step outside them."

"Thank you," Celeste said gratefully with a wide smile. Andrea tilted her head a bit and returned the gesture. "This is your home too. You will always be welcomed here. What caused you to run away?"

Celeste chuckled and sipped on her coffee, "My boyfriend got killed by Voldemort and I feel distanced from my best friend, seeing as we've been fighting for months over the littlest things. The Ministry doesn't believe that Voldemort's back so becoming the most famous person turned to the laughing stock in just one night." 

"Deep down it's been known that he'd return and once again, you and Harry Potter must stop him," Primrose said knowingly. 

"Hey Prim? Is it possible that my dad is alive as well?"

Primrose frowned, "I haven't heard from Uncle Reg in ages. He's allowed passage here into this House along with the one in France, Bulgaria, New Zealand, Thailand, and Russia but even I haven't visited all of them. I've only been to the France household every other Summer."

"I have this feeling that he's alive . . . " Celeste murmured. "But I'm afraid," she was afraid to meet her father and also furious with him for leaving mum and her behind. 

"There is nothing wrong with having hope." Primrose cupped her face. "I'll have Dorota put your stuff in your room and we can talk later yeah? I have to go to work at St. Mungos."

St. Mungos. That's where Aunt Andy works. 

She wondered how Aunt Andy would react when she realizes that her goddaughter and best friend's daughter has been right under her nose this entire time. Celeste of course won't say anything because this was her only cousin on her mother's side. It wasn't her secret to tell but Primrose herself.
