You slowly woke up to the sound of your mother's voice, "Y/N, come on, you're going to be late for school" She said sternly. You groaned, picking your self up and walking to your bathroom. You washed your face, hoping it would wake you up a bit more. You then realised something. Something exciting. Something nerve-wracking. Something great. You were seeing Hermione!

You quickly gulped down your breakfast before putting your jacket on and grabbing your backpack. You ran to the door shouting, "Bye mum! Bye dad! Love you," opened it and exited the house. As you shut the door, you watched The Granger's  house. You picked your head up and walked over.

Instead of pressing the doorbell, you decided to knock on the door. Your hand picked itself up, clenching to make a fist and gently knocked on the front door. You saw a slightly blurred figure running down the stairs, picking a bag up. They opened the door, only for you to realise it was Hermione. "Hey! Ready to go?" You asked her, watching as she quickly slipped her shoes on. She nodded and said, "Yep, are you?" She asked you looking down at the floor, her hands playing with each other. You rapidly nodded your head before standing to the side, Hermione stepping out of the house.

The both of you were walking down the road talking to each other. You then felt your coat buzzing. You took your phone out of the pocket and looked at it. Hermione looked at the phone and then looked at you. "Do you need to take it?" She asked you.
"Hm? Oh, no it's just my brother. Don't worry." You replied before putting your phone back in your pocket, it still vibrating. Hermione looked at you, "Take it!" She urged. You looked at her and then at the phone that had been taken out of your pocket. You pressed the button on it and put it to your ear.

"Hey, what's up?"
"Oh, nothing just wanted to see how you were."
"I'm well thanks, you?"
"Meh, as good as it will get. What you doing right now?"
"Just walking to the stop with my friend."
"Um, make sure he keeps his hands to himself"
"I'm sure she already knows that because she has common sense unlike some people."
"Oops?"
"Yeah oops. Anyways, I've got to go now. Almost at the bus stop."
"Ok sis. See you later, love you!"
"Love you too."
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Ok, ok I said I love you too moron."

You cut the call off quickly, putting your phone back in your pocket. Hermione looked at you and grinned, "you never told me you had a brother." She said. You looked back at her, eyes locking, "Didn't really think it mattered. He's in university so I don't really see much of him that often." You replied, a small smile on your face. Hermione was still watching you as you turned away, "do you miss him? Your brother." She asked you. Her question made you stop and watch her. Hermione grew slightly nervous before muttering, "oh- I'm sorry I- I didn't mean for-" she said, watching the floor intensely. "Oh no it's absolutely fine," you laughed a little before continuing to walk and talk,"I do miss him sometimes, but I guess I'm kinda used to it by now. It's his second year at uni. We only really see him during holidays, sometimes not even that. But I'm not too fussed, I talk to him on the phone a lot anyways." You said, a big smile formed on your face.
"So, Granger, do you always ramble?" You laughed as she shot you a playful glare. She cleared her throat and spoke, "No. it was an accident." You giggled, "An accident? Hm, ok sure, we'll see about that." You said to her.

The two of you had finally made it to the bus stop, the bus being there just in time. You stood to the side, motioning to Hermione to go in first. She smiled at you and then at the bus driver as she walked in. You went in behind her stopping her from paying for her ticket. She looked at you confused as you took some money out of your left pocket and payed for the both of you.

You sat down beside each other, Hermione looking at you as you got comfortable. "You didn't have to pay for my ticket you know." She said. You looked back at her, grinning, "Oh I know, but seeing as it is your first time, I thought I would show my nice side." You replied. She laughed at you, "my first time? I have been on a bus before." She countered, looking out of the window next to you. You looked at her, "You see Miss Granger, this is my turf. As far as I'm concerned, you have never been on a bus on my turf. Have you?" You challenged back to her cheekily. Hermione blushed and looked away. You smirked before looking back out of the window, admiring the beauty of trees. Trees? Why am I staring at trees? Ugh, goodness sake, I am losing it.
