Y/N's POV: I wasn't always the biggest fan of Christmas, I won't lie. It just never earned my attention like other holidays did. But I'm willing to put that aside for my friends. And Hermione. Especially Hermione. She seemed to love the idea of sitting by the fire with a hot chocolate and playing in the snow. Not me. Sure, opening presents is cool but I would prefer being under the sun, with a nice drink or something. It sounds pretty odd but y'know I guess that's li-
"Hey! Wake up already."
*THUD*
"Ow! What was that for?" I groaned feeling a pillow hit my rib cage. "Oh don't be a baby." I opened my eyes to see Hermione sitting on the bed, brushing her hair. I shuffled over to sit next to her, "Hey there," I started rubbing her back, "how'd you sleep?" I asked, making sure she had enough energy to keep me awake for the day. "I slept fine. But I wouldn't be so worried about me. Look at you! You've got massive bags under your eyes. What did you do, pull an all-nighter when I wasn't looking?" She said examining my face. Hermione stopped brushing her hair and placed her thumbs underneath my eyelids, rubbing them in circles. "Uhm, what are you doing?" I asked laughing. I was about to reach my hand up but she slapped it back down. "I'm getting rid of these stupid bags. I read that this was the best way to do it." She answered, her tongue poking out of the corner of her lips. Her level of concentration was quite funny. And cute. Oh so cute.
After a couple of minutes, Hermione stopped rubbing my face and gently pat my cheek, "come, the others have been waiting and I don't think I have it in me to listen to their comments." But before she could get off the bed, I grabbed her hand and pulled her back down. I placed a quick kiss on her lips, jumped off the bed and took her hand. "Lead the way babe."

Alex's POV: Y/N and Hermione were the last to come downstairs. Surprise, surprise. We were all in the kitchen, eating pancakes when they walked in. "Merry Christmas!" We all said to each other. I was just finishing off the last pancake when Hermione spoke to me, "You sure do know how to make a lot of things Alex." I chuckled and smiled as I dished some pancakes onto her plate, "Yeah, uh, my parents are chefs. They own their own restaurant, actually. You should all come. Not too bad for a date if you know what I mean." I said, winking at Preethi. She just blushed and ate her food whilst the rest of us laughed.

After we'd eaten breakfast, we all sat down by the Christmas tree to open presents. It was still fairly early in the morning, so we had plenty of time to exchange gifts. Just as we were about to start opening them, Y/N stopped us. "Wait. I have an idea," she said, shaking a present in the air, "Why don't we play a game? We all make a pile of our presents and open them one by one. We then have to guess who got us that present. Person who gets the most right, gets to choose the movie we watch tonight?" She spoke excitedly. I'd never seen Y/N so excited about Christmas. It was quite weird to see. We all agreed to her terms and started playing.

Katie's POV: I love my friends and all but they have really bad taste in movies. Not my type. I have to win this.

Kenzie's POV: I could bet real money, like real money that Y/N cares way too much about this. I can NOT let her win. If i do, we'll all be stuck watching some romantic shit that nobody cares about. What's the point in watching it when you could actually do it? My mental state depends on these presents. I have to beat her.

Preethi's POV: There is no way I am letting Y/N win this. She's going to play some horrible rom-com garbage and expect us to enjoy it! I have to win.

Y/N's POV: To be honest, I couldn't care less about what movie we watch. I just wanted to make opening presents fun. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if my friends were all conspiring against me so they don't have to watch a rom-com.
