The Plan

It had been a couple of days since you had lost the game against Kingston and you were feeling a bit better. Mainly because you had other things to think about. Other things like your first date with Hermione. She had gone away for the weekend to visit her grandparents, which gave you plenty of time to plan what you were going to do.

"Maybe you could take her out to the cinema?" Alex suggested. He was the only person that knew about your little thing with Hermione, so he decided to help you out with planning the date. "No, she did that with Ryan. It needs to be something special. Something meaningful to her." You said pondering. "Ok, well what does she like to do? You could incorporate that into the theme of the date." He said. You looked up quickly, pointing at him, "Yes, Yes that's exactly what i'll do. Ah thank you Alex. You're the best!" You picked up your stuff, ran down the stairs and shouted "Bye Mr and Mrs Mercer!" before leaving his house.

You ran into town and swung the doors of the library open. You jogged over to the front desk, and slammed your books on it enthusiastically. "Good afternoon Mrs Jenkins. How are you today?" you asked the librarian as you panted. She raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "Hello Miss Y/L/N, what do you need?" She asked. You looked down at the floor, slightly embarrassed. "Do you think I could borrow the library for a date tomorrow?" You asked shyly. She smiled. "Well, of course. May i ask who the lucky person you're planning this for is?" She said. "Uhm, Hermione Granger ma'am. She comes here quite often." You said nervously. "Ah yes, Miss Granger. What a lovely girl. She comes in here almost everyday, sits in that corner and reads for hours." Mrs Jenkins said, pointing to the corner of the building, "I will close the place up at 4:00pm tomorrow and you can have it for the rest of the evening." She said calmly. "Thank you so much Miss! I owe you one." You exclaimed and ran out of the building.

You got home and went up to your room quickly. You lay on your bed, thinking about how awesome the date was going to be. You picked up your phone and unlocked it. It opened onto your chat with Hermione. You saw she was online, so you decided to text her. Can't wait for our date tomorrow ;) - Y/N. She immediately started typing and messaged you back. Me either :)) - Mione x. You smiled widely.

When do you get back? - Y/N.

kay but i don't want to see your beautiful face until our date. Got it? - Y/N.

Humph. I want to see you now :( - Mione x

You looked up from your phone, blushing like crazy. I can't believe this. I guess dreams come true after all!

The next day came very quickly. You were really excited but also really anxious. Will she like it? Maybe she doesn't like me as much as i like her. Oh my muffin, i'm losing it! You got dressed quickly and met Alex in town. "Hey. So what do we need to get?" He asked excitedly. He was almost as excited as you were because it was his best friend's first date with the girl of her dreams. You took your phone out of your pocket and opened the the checklist you had made.

- Candles
- Rose petals
- Question Gift
- Box of treacle tarts
- Pizza

"Question gift? What's that?" Alex asked curiously as you turned you phone off and dragged him down the street, "Well I thought I would get her a gift for when I ask her the big question!" Alex stopped you, eyes widening as you said each word. "The big question?! Y/N/N, you haven't even started dating yet and you want to marry her?" He screamed, almost sounding mad. "Marry her? What no! When I ask her to be my girlfriend dumbass," you said, continuing to walk, "I just thought it would be nice to give her something to remember our first date, you know?" You softly spoke, feeling a little embarrassed with how much you took the date to heart.

       "Wow. You really thought it all through huh?" Alex said examining your flushed face. "Well, yeah, I guess I did. She's just so special and I know I'm not the best with emotions, but I need this date to show her how much she means to me." You mumbled, still embarrassed. "Well, I'm happy for you Y/N. Really. I'm glad you understand how you feel. Hermione is one lucky girl." He said proudly, squeezing you tightly. "Thanks Ally. Now come on! We need everything for before 4 o'clock!" You said, pulling away from his holds. You grabbed his arm and ran down the road, going in and out of shops looking for everything you needed for the perfect date.
