It's late at night by the time I can see the polar icecaps come into view and it's safe to say that I'm exhausted. After all of the emotions I have felt during this extremely long day it makes sense that I'm as tired as I am. I just hope that I'm not too tired to see Bolin tonight. That's even if he is still awake. Maybe he is asleep? I groan slightly as I lean into Lulu's fur. I know it's wrong for me to feel the way I am, but I know that just by seeing Bo I'll feel better about everything. Spirits, I can't feel like this for him. It's bad to be so caught up with someone, especially when my duty is telling me to do something different.

Lulu suddenly moves to the side which forces me to sit up with a gasp. I look into the dark sky and I see fire being shot in the air. I grab on the reigns and guide her through the snow dodging each shot. I look towards the ground and I see a group of people fighting against Spirits. Why are there angry Spirits?

"Lulu, we have to help them!" I say. I hear a gruff noise emit from the flying bison and we head down towards the three angry Spirits. When we are close enough to the ground I jump off Lulu and bend a large amount of fire between the Spirits and the group of people. I bend the fire around the Spirits, encasing them in a tornado of fire which I raise up.

"Ulazu, am I glad to see you!" A voice yells as I sense them run over to me. I keep my attention on containing the Spirits, but I know who it is when they're by my side.

"Avatar Korra, what did you do to piss off the Spirits!" I grunt as I feel the Spirits fight against the fire.

"What? I haven't done anything." She scoffs back.

"I hate to say it, but you're a Spirit, Korra. They wouldn't attack without reason." I groan as sweat falls from my hairline. I am too tired for this. I feel more people join my side and I know that they're watching the fire grow smaller due to my exhaustion.

"Mako, help her!" I hear Bo's voice cry by my side.

"I would but I don't even know how she does this." Mako replies. My head grows fuzzy as the Spirits fight against the tornado of fire even harder than before.

"I can't hold them." I pant. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I shiver when I realise that it's Unalaq.

"Release them." He says as he walks in front of us. I continue to hold on watching him in confusion. He stops when he is close to the fire and he turns to me, giving me a nod. I hesitate for a second longer before moving my arms to bring the fire down.

Once I have released my hold on the fire, I feel myself wobble and fall slightly. Bolin moves quickly and catches me before I can fall properly. I grab onto his arms as I beg my head to return to normal. However, I lose focus when I watch Unalaq wrap streams of water around the Spirits. My eyes widen in awe as the water starts to shine a golden glow and the once angry Spirits grow kind, now free from their hostility.

"Woah." I breathe. Now that is new. I turn to Bolin who still has his arm around my waist. "Since when did the Spirits start attacking us?" I ask him.

"Last night one attacked Korra. I'll explain everything later." He says. I nod and rest my hand on his as I turn to face the rest of the group. I watch as Mako walks over to the arctic camels and sighs.

"Oh great. There goes our equipment. Now what are we supposed to do?" He groans. Lulu lands next to me and I bring my hand to her fur stroking it softly. I feel something jump onto my shoulder and I turn to see Pabu jumping off me and climbing onto Lulu. I hadn't even realised that the cute creature was here.

"There's only one thing to do. We have to turn back." Tonraq says as he crosses his arms over his chest, glaring at his brother.

"No. The solstice is tonight. We're so close." Unalaq argues. I glance at Bolin completely lost about what's happening. His eyes cling onto the older men as he watches their argument, and I can't help but take in his side profile. Everything about it is perfect, he is just so perfect. The longer I admire it, the more I feel that it's impossible to comply with my mother's wishes.
