My eyes slowly open and I let out a groan. A dull ache covers the back of my head making my eyes close once again. I hear voices around me, but I can't make out who they belong to. All I know is that I don't recognise any of them. Did Asami get Korra away?

I force my eyes to open again and when I do I notice that I'm lying down in the back of a jeep. Dai Li agents surround me, but none look in my direction. I shift slightly trying to get a better look at who is with me and straight away I take note that Asami and Korra aren't here. They must have gotten away. They would be here otherwise.

"If you're looking for your friends, don't bother. You won't be seeing them again." One of the Dai Li agents snarl at me which makes my blood run cold.

"What did you do?" I ask though the grit of my teeth as I attempt to sit up, but I'm too exhausted and feel too much pain to move properly.

"They're on their way to prison." He replies and I notice him shift slightly to grab a hold of something.

"What do you want from me? I'm not going to fight for your Queen." I snap. The Dai Li agents around me start to laugh which puts me right on edge. Am I missing something?

"You're not going to have a choice." One of the other agents smirk at me. I watch as he holds up a small black box and when he presses the button on it I feel a wave of electricity run through me. I let out a cry as flashbacks of fighting against Amon and his Equalists flood through my mind. However, I don't focus on anything for long as darkness consumes me once again.

——

I let out a pained groan as I came back around. My eyes crack open to see the floor beneath me moving, and it's only then I realise that I'm being dragged somewhere. I recognise the colours around me and I know instantly that I'm in the Earth Kingdom. I must be in Ba Sing Se.

I lift my head up to see that they're taking me towards a large set of doors. It opens and when it does I feel my heart stop beating for a moment. Zaheer and his friends walk out of the door wearing smug looks, but as soon as my eye meets Zaheer's, his face drops. We stare at one another as I'm forced along and I can tell by the way he is staring at me that he is forming some sort of plan in his mind, but that isn't what I'm worrying about. If Zaheer is here, where's Bolin? Is he okay?

The Dai Li drag me past the criminals and into the throne room. I groan again as I'm presented in front of Her Majesty. She glares down at me and I am forced to kneel. I huff and I stare right back at her angrily. I don't understand how she gets away with doing whatever she pleases.

"Princess Ulazu, how nice of you to finally agree to join my army." She says with a smirk.

"I'm not fighting for you, and I suggest that if you want to continue having a friendly relationship with the Fire Nation, you stop this stupid hunt for the Avatar and her friends." I snap. Her eyes narrow on me for a second, but she soon lets out a laugh.

"Your threats mean nothing to me. You will fight for me." She says. I scoff at her and I feel the Dai Li agents release their grip on me. I half expect myself to flop to the ground when they stop holding me up, but I don't. I guess I have more energy than I thought.

"I'm afraid you can't force me to do anything for you." I say and her smirk widens.

"Are you so sure about that?" She asks. As soon as the words leave her lips I feel a wave of electricity zap through me and I cry out before collapsing to the floor. I whimper quietly to myself and my hands shakily lift to my neck. My fingers brush against a small box which is bound to my skin and I look up at her again angrily.

"What have you done to me?" I growl in rage. The Earth Queen stands up and walks towards me as I breathe heavily from the pain.

"I have found a way to ensure you do as you're told." She says and I release a dry laugh.
