Shit.
I back away from Zaheer until my body hits the wall behind me. I stare at the four criminals standing in front of me and I can feel my heart slam against my chest. I do not have the energy to fight against all four of them, I'm not going to win this fight. Zaheer takes a step into my cell and I stare at him and his sickening grin seems to widen. He can sense my fear. And he is loving it.
"You don't need to be scared." He says and I narrow my eyes on him.
"What do you want with me?" I ask, my voice his harsh to match my anger towards him.
"I want to know why the Queen has locked you up down here." Zaheer says. I stare at him and remain silent not wanting to tell him anything.
"Maybe it has something to do with her being able to walk on lava." Water arm woman says and Zaheer shares a look with her before turning back to me. He raises his arm and I feel air being bent around my body, lifting me into the air. I groan slightly as my feet are forced off the ground feeling even more fear run through my veins. Zaheer moves out of the way before sending my body flying into the wall opposite my cell.
A pained moan falls from my lips as my body slams against the wall before slumping to the ground. I start to push myself up, but I soon feel air wrapping around my body once again, lifting me off the floor and pinning me against the wall. I groan and glare at Zaheer who walks towards me. I can see the curiosity behind his eyes and I know that it's because he doesn't know about my bending. I mean, it makes sense seeing as they've all be in prison for the past thirteen years, but my heatbending is being spoken about so much at the moment, I'm surprised they haven't heard anything.
"How did you walk on the lava?" Zaheer asks and I stare back.
"I don't know what you talking about." I reply and he narrows his eyes on me.
"I think we both know that is a lie." Zaheer says but I keep a straight expression. I don't want to tell him about my bending if he doesn't know. It would be stupid to reveal a hidden advantage.
"What did you do to the Queen?" I ask and lava guy chuckles behind Zaheer.
"Is the little Princess worried?" He sneers.
"Maybe I am a bit concerned about the well-being of the Earth Queen. Her Kingdom needs her." I say. I don't think she does much to help her citizens if I'm honest, but it isn't my place to change anything. I'm not going to interfere with Earth Kingdom business.
"I guess you didn't hear our announcement. The Queen is dead." Zaheer says and my face drops.
"What?" I gasp quietly.
"You sound like you're displeased which is surprising since she locked you down here and put that collar on you." Zaheer says. I clench my jaw as I stare at him.
"She might have been immoral, but that doesn't give you the right to go around killing everyone you don't like." I snap and I feel the air holding me to the wall tighten against my skin.
"You see, I don't believe in Queen's or royalty. You are born to oppress others and I will fight to free the people that have to suffer under your rule." Zaheer says and I let out a small laugh which makes him frown.
"I know you're an extremist, but I have to agree with your beliefs." I say and I see the confusion on the four criminals' faces.
"You agree?" Zaheer questions and I feel the air loosen around my body however, it's still tight enough to hold me against the wall.
"I don't agree with you killing people, but I do agree that some rulers abuse their power." I say. Zaheer stares at me and I stare right back. "So what? Does this mean you're going to kill me as well now?" I ask. Zaheer looks over to his friends and I feel his grip on me drop. I collapse to the floor and I let out a groan as I hit the ground.
