inspired by just thinking out loud (i dont know if i could ever go without) by thebane on ao3 !! a very cute one shot that i highly recommend 

a mix of pre and post timeskip this time.

• yk that thing girls do when theyre like "i got a new bra, wanna see?" that was kenma's demise

> anyways kuroo knew what she was doing + flustered kenma is never something she'll pass up on

• when they're like,, 11/12 they watch their first romcom together and kuroo decides that as her senpai its her duty to give kenma a makeover, except all her clothes are too big on her

> kuroo starts blushing really hard and she doesn't know why

> when she and kenma get together she thinks back on it and realizes "oh. so that's what that was."

• when they were kids kuroo had short hair and she was jealous of kenmas, so kenma would give her her hair ties to use when her hair grew out

> she did !!

• kuroo wears red lipstick when she feels hot (so when she dresses up for parties and stuff) and kenma can't handle it

> when they do finally get together kuroo finds out how much kenma truly appreciates her in red lipstick 

• when theyre older, kuroo wears the lipstick all the time, which works great unless they get distracted before an important meeting 

> getting lipstick stains out of dress shirt collars isn't as easy as it looks

• with time kuroo comes to appreciate the red lipstick more and more, especially when she finds out that the red stains kenmas skin

• kuroo helps kenma dye her hair

> "of course i know what i'm doing i help bo all the time."

• all of kenmas clothes are oversized, so they fit kuroo too

> when they get together kenma just stops buying new clothes in favour of stealing kuroos

• kuroo always rests her head on kenma when shes tired

> she prefers kenmas lap over her shoulder bc she its more comfortable for he neck and she can press little kisses on her thighs

> it is 100% not an excuse just to touch her nope.

• kuroo will lie on top of kenma and kiss her shoulders to wake her up

> if that doesnt work she takes her shirt off and tries again

• now that i think about it thats probably how she tries to get kenma's attention just: shirt off, bra off, "hey kenma!"

> it starts when they first move in together and at first kenmas super flustered

> by now shes used to it (it still works though)

• kuroo likes pulling kenma into her lap

• they wear matching earrings 

• kenma plays with kuroos hair a lot

> its very long and wild how could she not

> she tangles her hands in it when they kiss

• before they got together they definitely accidentally recreated The Photo

> "c'mon kenma i always see you looking at this lipstick let me put some on you."

• kuroo used to put her arm around kenmas shoulders a lot under the guise of fun of how short she is and kenma didnt like it

> when they got together, kenma told her this so kuroo started putting an arm around her waist instead 

> kenmas face is perpetually red now but hey at least she likes it

• once, during a nekoma sleepover kuroo complained about how no guys would want to date her because of her height and yaku swore she heard kenma mutter a bitter "date me instead" without looking up from her game

• kenma? flat as a board, so she has that mentality of "i forgot my shirt? it doesnt matter if i practice in a sports bra its just a glorified crop top anyway"

> kuroo cant deal

• rich wives are rich ~together~

> fem!kuroo loves spending money on jewelry and kenma loves indulging her

> they don't tell anyone about their relationship for a while, but that doesn't stop kuroo from bragging about her secret beau to bokuto and the team

> knowing that she secretly left the marks while kuroo brags about it to others is a feeling kenma likes a lot

• whenever one of them goes shopping, they always model it for one another

> its a tradition that started when they were kids and they refuse to let it go

> shouyou and kenma go shopping together and shouyou convinces her to get this very cute little black dress. its incredibly outside of kenmas comfort zone but the way kuroo looked at her when she showed her it? worth it

• when they sit next to each other kuroo likes putting a hand on kenmas thigh

> its a Reflex

• kenma buys kuroo cat themed hair clips as a joke but she starts using them and they actually look good?

> so then they have a bunch of cat hair clips lying around the appartment and kenma can't fucking find a normal one so she reluctantly starts using them too

— and now they both only use cat hair clips since they're the only ones they own
