I made my way outside to find that rather than gather to watch the fight, people were running away. Their blows were strong enough to destroy structures and harm anyone who got too close. Tyler had begun to win. The queen was fading fast. I however needed to be there for him, to calm him down after he wins. The last time he raged he burned himself out because he was already injured and tired. But this time he was fully charged and it didn't seem like he'd be burning out any time soon. It was so frightening to see him this way, he scared me even more than she did. I got as close as I could to the fight. And as soon as I got close enough for him to hear me, he knocks her out. But he's still raging, and he's not ok with just a knock out. He tries to go for the kill.

But before he can do it, I yell, "TYLER! I'M HERE! I'M OKAY!" As he looks to me with eyes full of rage, he begins to calm down. His rage becomes relief. I rush over to him before he collapses and I catch him in my arms. I didn't want the queen to live, but Tyler did. He came here with the intention of beating her to end a war and save lives. So I didn't let him taint his mission. And his hands were free of the queen's blood.

"Tyler... are you okay??? Please be okay. Please wake up." I cried out.

After a few seconds he regained his consciousness. Though to me those seconds felt like hours.

"Kristyn?" He said "Let's make a new promise."

"Sure. Anything you want Djad Ahbi. You name it." I replied.

"Let's promise that from now on we do this together. You and me. No army, no war. Just the two of us, being heros."

"Sure!" As my eyes filled with tears of joy over him being ok. "That sounds good to me. Right after you take me home so we can have that dinner."

We both laughed. And I kissed him tenderly for the first time. A few people came back to see who had won the fight, and since it was Tyler, he was now king. Neither of us had even thought about it. As the crowd cheered our names they were also saying, "All hail the new King and Queen!!!". Apparently since we both fought her we both won. So now I have a best friend who's a Hero and a King. What more could a girl ask for?
