Earth 8018: The Story of Tyler and Kristyn

Part 26: The Long Drive (2 of 6)

Tyler said, "Kristyn, stay here. Don't move."

He the charges to State 2 and exits the cab of the transport. once he's outside he sees former members of the queen's royal guard holding the drivers at gunpoint. So Tyler sneaks up behind them. I on the other hand got tired of waiting, so I snuck out of the transport passenger area into the drivers area. I then started the transport trucks engine as a distraction. Tyler took this opportunity to rush the criminals and take their weapons. After that I got out and un-cuffed our drivers. Fortunately they weren't hurt. So Tyler asks them,

"What are you doing here!?"

In reply they said, "We're here to stop you from ruining our City with your stupid democracy! We've heard the stories of ancient times where nations fell becauseof it!"

Tyler then said, "You do realize I'm king of Sand City right?"

"Oh yeah and I'm it's Queen!" I shouted from the drivers seat of the transport.

"We don't recognize you as our leaders. Only Queen Simbi!" He said as they started to chant her name as if this were some sporting event.

"Look guys." Said Tyler, "We don't have time for this. We really don't. So we're gonna arrest you and keep you in the transport until we get to Sand City... in 2 and half days... DAMMIT! WE HAVE TO RIDE WITH THESE MORONS FOR TWO AND A HALF DAYS!?"

"Whoa! Babe! Calm down, alright? We got this. We can do this."

After a deep sigh of irritation, he says, "Fine...but since you were sleeping you get the first shift of watching them. I need a nap."

"Ugh! Really!? Fine but only because you didn't get much sleep last night." I said. He then thanked me and we all got back to our seats. Only this time he's sleeping, and I have a gun. Watching our newly cuffed "friends."
