As Tyler raced to the battle grounds, Two of our 3 squadrons had already been wiped out. And mine was quickly falling before my eyes.
I managed to make it to the last Mech we had. But by the time I made it... my squadron was gone. In a rage I opened fire on as many of the enemy's tanks as I could. But I soon realized I was all alone and had no chance of winning. So I close my eyes excepting my fate... only to hear:
"KRISTYYYYN!!!"
As I open my eyes I see him stop right in front of my Mech. staring right at me with eyes full of emotion. I knew exactly what he was feeling, sadness, disappointment, anger, betrayal. but also guilt, due to the fact that he hadn't kept his promises either. So he turned his back to me and immediately went to work destroying tank after tank after tank and mech after mech! Even the super suits were no match for him. But before long he began to slow down because he wasn't finished healing. The Queen did more damage to him than had ever been done before. They started landing shots with the mechs, the tanks and the blasts from the super suits. Before long Tyler started to lose the fight as they began blasting him with Energy beams. I couldn't bare to see this. So I threw myself in between them and him as they opened fire on the back of my Mech.
I screamed: "Tyler get up! Please wake up! I need you!"
And right after I said that, Tyler leaped onto my mech and ripped me out of the cockpit, setting the self destruct sequence in the process. And with a single leap off of the Cliffside, took both himself and I in his arms about a mile or two away from it all, landing on his feet and running at full speed before eventually slowing down and collapsing at the mouth of a small cave. I picked him up and took him inside. I used my jacket as a comfort for my head. I rested his head on my lap and fell asleep along with him. I knew that as soon as we were both awake... things were gonna get a little... well... "Argumentative" between us.
