After we get inside we have a long talk about him leaving, making me crazy with worry, getting himself captured, and lastly not trusting me. However if it weren't for his quick thinking with the serum, the map and the note, I wouldn't have saved him the way I was able to. So I was at least thankful and happy about that. Of course I didn't tell my sisters about this yet because I wasn't sure how they'd react to me being a super. Don't even get me started on my mom. Supers for the most part are feared here, even though Tyler saved us from a war we would've lost. I'll keep this under wraps for the time being.
I had gone through so many changes in such a short time. First confessing my feelings for Tyler, then becoming a queen, then leaving the military, now I'm suddenly a super? If I wasn't the one experiencing it I honestly wouldn't believe it.
The next day Tyler and I began our training in secret. We train with and without States. I teach him how to fight, and he teaches me the limits of my new strength. For some reason I'm not able to reach State 2. Only 1. Maybe the diluted version of the serum mixed with Tyler's blood didn't allow for State 2. During training we also worked up some pretty awesome tag team moves. We trained 9 months straight. And Tyler seems to be a fast learner. Not much happened in those 9 months. Other than Tyler and I falling more in love and our training. We finally had some periods of one on one time that weren't interrupted by some sort of crisis. Half of it was relaxing. The other half was gruelling training. A nice balance. But after about 9 months of that, it's time to test what we've taught one another, in an all out spar.
