Earth 8018: The Story of Tyler and Kristyn

Part 30: The Long Drive (6 of 6)

Tyler had bitten off more than he could chew. The two supers he was fighting against were no ordinary thugs. They were only capable of State 1, but they were incredibly fast. That's how they were able to jump him before. Because Tyler is in State 2 he can tank their hits with no problem. And he's fast too. But these guys were much faster, so fast that he couldn't hit them. While all this is going on I decided to use a little trick I picked up from the Queen.

I sneak into the office where they are. The boss was attempting to flea when I caught him off guard and held to knife his neck. I then walk him back into where Tyler and the other ywo supers are fighting.

"Alright no one move or the fat guy gets it!"

This distracts the two supers long enough for Tyler to finally get a hit in on both of them, knocking then out at the same time.

"Wow. Nice work Djad Ahbi!" Said Tyler. "Couldn'thave done it without you!"

"Oh it was nothing." I said in reply. "You know I wasn't gonna leave you hanging."

After that we cut a deal with the "Boss"... by "Cut a deal" I mean had him arrested. We were still the current King and Queen after all. We decided to wait around for the police from Sand City to show up since we were only about 6 hours from the City. Afterwards we spoke to the 4 royal guards from earlier. Tyler said,

"Ya know what? You guys actually ain't half bad... maybe we were wrong about you."

Because they helped us save those people we decided to let them go. They were grateful.

One of them said, "I suppose you guys ain't that bad either. Maybe it is time for some change around here. I mean the queen knew about this and never did anything about it. But you guys stopped it all in one day. Even got the ring leader!"

We thanked them for helping us and sent then on their way.

After that we finally made it to Sand City to do what we came here to do in the first place.
