Shipping the SDRA2 Cast With Each Other

After a brief interval of rain over the third island, Monocrow had cleaned up the water and deemed the rides of the amusement park safe to use. Only a handful of people had wanted to go there today anyway, so the problem had quickly been solved.

One of the people who wanted to check out the amusement park was Emma, who had just spent the early afternoon posing for one of Iroha's paintings and sharing small talk with the other girl. Now, she wanted a thrill to light up her boring afternoon, so she wanted to try going on a few of the rollercoasters again. Of course, she made sure that she hadn't eaten before she left for the third island, she had spent enough time with Nikei to know that eating before moving around a lot could lead to some very bad results.

As she walked over to Department A, where all the rides were, she almost ran into Yuki, who was sitting to the side and writing something down in a notebook. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry!" The actress apologized, stepping away from the lucky student so that she wouldn't run into him again.

"Oh, it's fine, don't worry!" Yuki quickly assured, closing his notebook and putting it into his pocket. "You didn't run into me, I'm okay."

"Hm?" Emma leaned to the side and looked at his pocket. "What do you have there? A notebook?"

"Yeah, um, I'm keeping a journal of everything that happened on this island so that I can show my mother when I get home." The lucky student explained. "She's probably worried sick, so I at least want to tell her that Utsuro and I weren't in any danger during our stay here."

"Yes, I see. I should probably do that for my parents as well." The blonde mused. "Well, I'm happy that you and your brother came to this island. You're very nice, even if you treated me overly formally at first, and I have actually been looking for Utsuro for a long time now."

"You have? Do you know him?" Yuki questioned.

"He...well..." Emma paused, trying find a way to not give away too much information to the ginger. "...He helped me out of a bad place when I was younger. I'll always be grateful for that. And now that I've seen him again, I'm sure that I won't go back to the place I was before."

"Oh...that must've been before we adopted him. I wonder if he's saved other lives." The lucky student hummed.

"Yes, many more, a lot more than just I." The actress sighed. She then brightened up, changing the subject. "Anyways, our parents must be worried sick. At least we'll be able to come home safe and sound, am I right?"

"Yeah! I mean, Monocrow hasn't said when we get to go home, but I like it here! It's almost like everyone here is becoming closer!" Yuki agreed. "But I think that's what Monocrow was aiming for all along, for all of us to learn to cooperate together."

"Hmhm, well, I'm not opposed to his agenda. I'm actually having fun on this trip!" Emma exclaimed, giggling to herself. "A place where I can just be myself instead of trapped in the role that society wants, this is all ice ever wanted!"

"Haha, I'm glad that you're happy in a place like this!" The ginger chuckled lightheartedly. "Anyway, what are you doing on this island? Are you planning to go on one of the rollercoasters?"

"Yes, I wanted to enjoy the thrill of being in motion after being a subject of a painting after lunch." The taller girl replied. "Say, do you want to go on one with me? I think it'll be quite fun!"

"Uh, sure! I don't have much to do this afternoon, so I don't see why not." Yuki stood up and walked to Emma's side. "So, which one do you want to go on first?"

"Hmm... I want to try that big one over there!" The actress pointed to a nearby rollercoaster. "Unless you're to scared to?"

"I swear, I'm not scared. I'm pretty sure your puns would kill me faster than a rollercoaster ever could." The lucky student commented. "Besides, Monocrow wouldn't let us get hurt by these machines anyways. He keeps saying that our safety is of top priority."

"Yet he didn't stop you and Kanade from running out into a storm to collect metal materials." Emma remarked.

"I think he was busy fixing something in the game room. I think that Big Bro might've accidentally broken the pool table again while leaning on it." Yuki recalled. "He told me that his billiards game with Setsuka was a draw, so I think that's what happened there."

As Emma laughed at the offhand story, the two of them arrived at the rollercoaster and strapped themselves in. Needless to say, Emma's afternoon wasn't boring anymore.
