"Come on, Yoru, you said that you can sing! I just want to hear you!" Hibiki complained, trying to drag the hostess to the casino on the third island.
Kanade giggled as she walked beside the duo. "You know, Sis, I don't think that this is working too well." She remarked, and the older twin rolled her eyes when she heard that.
"Then push her from behind, dammit!" The vocalist snapped, and the younger twin quietly grumbled as she went to do as she said. Kanade didn't know how she put up with her sister, it was still a mystery to her.
"What the-?! You two, why the hell are you doing this?! I said I could sing, yes, but I also said I was terrible at it! Why would the Ultimate Vocalist want to hear someone who's bad at singing?!" Yoruko exclaimed. "Besides, we're supposed to be collecting materials right now!"
"First of all, Sis and I already have jobs on the third island, I clean while she searches. Second of all, you're lying since you said that you were supposed to count the materials today." The guitarist refuted. "Third of all, you're a complete tsundere. You're most likely selling yourself short while actually sounding pretty good. You wouldn't have told Hibiki that you could sing otherwise."
While the hostess was left sputtering flustered protests, the twins kept pushing her with persistence to the casino and the karaoke machine inside. When they did manage to get inside, Hibiki quickly blocked the door. "Alright, I'll get the karaoke set up! What song do you want?" The vocalist chirped.
"Wh-What on earth is your deal?! Dragging me here when we're supposed to be doing things- well, YOU'RE supposed to be doing things - and you want me to sing first thing in the morning?!" The taller girl protested.
"Ah, you're right! You should do warmups first, I suggest that you-" Hibiki began, but was cut off.
"No way! Just let me out of there and get back to your jobs!" Yoruko sternly exclaimed.
"Come on, Yoru, pleeeeease? You know how much I love youuuuu..." The vocalist whined and tried to put herself between Yoruko and the door.
"Hibiki, get out of my way." The hostess fixed the smaller girl with a death glare.
"But, I said I love you." Hibiki whimpered, giving the taller girl puppy eyes. Behind the older twin, Kanade coughed to draw Yoruko's attention to her and fixed the light pink-haired girl with a deadpan stare, slowly drawing her finger across her throat.
Yoruko got the message the guitarist was sending and immediately relented. "Fine, I'll do it. Jeez, you guys are pushy." The hostess huffed. "But god help you if we don't do our work because of this! Forget the others, I'll kick your asses myself!"
"Don't worry, we'll be out of here soon!" Hibiki reassured, smiling cheerfully as she bounced back to her usual excitable self.
The taller girl sighed and walked over to the karaoke machine, turning it on and shuffling through the songs. She could tune out Hibiki's hyperactive cheering, but she couldn't get rid of the feeling of Kanade's eyes boring holes into her back. She didn't know how the younger twin could do that, but she certainly wasn't going to ignore it.
After setting up 'Heart Attack' by Demi Lovato on the karaoke machine, Yoruko turned it on and began singing, despite not having warmed up her voice as the vocalist had previously suggested. She just wanted to get this done with as soon as possible.
Hibiki ignored the way the taller girl's voice cracked on some of the notes or that she hadn't warmed up, the vocalist simply sat on the ground and listened with wide eyes as Kanade stayed near the back, leaning on the barricaded door.
When Yoruko had finished the song, growing flustered again after remembering that she had an audience after being lost in the song, Hibiki applauded enthusiastically with a bright face. "Wow, Yoru, that was amazing! Come on, encore!" The vocalist cheered. The guitarist only chuckled at the back.
"B-But, I already did a song as we agreed, and you said we'd be out of here soon!" The hostess exclaimed, stepping away from the machine.
"Aw, but Yoruuuu..." Hibiki started whining again. At that point, Kanade just pulled out her student handbook to tell the others via group chat that Hibiki was going to cause them to not finish their assigned jobs.
When the vocalist finally pressured Yoruko into singing another song, deciding to make it a duet, Kanade pulled out her phone and decided to record it as blackmail. When she asked Yoruko to help her with her cleaning - or else the video would be sent to Sora and Setsuka - the hostess reluctantly agreed and helped her out when the guitarist asked it of her.
