One thing that Hajime certainly wasn't expecting when he walked into the workout room was seeing the tiny vocalist he lived with lift tiny weights vigourously. He didn't think that she worked out, but he closed the door behind him a bit louder to make her aware of his presence.

Thankfully, she wasn't scared by his sudden appearance, but she did turned around to see who had entered. "Oh, Haji! Hi~hi! Did you come to exercise too?" She asked, a confident smile still on her face.

"Yeah, I like coming into this room. It's got air conditioning, plus I don't have to watch poor Yuki suffer trying to keep up with Shinji. I still don't know how he does it, but his twin seems to have gotten out of it scot-free." The boxer chuckled, pitying the lucky student. "Anyways, I didn't expect to see you here, Hibiki. Do you do training too? Or is this a one-time thing?"

"Nope, I do this every week! It's actually necessary for my career as an idol, I don't want to miss a single week!" Hibiki informed, continuing to lift the weights just small enough to fit her hands. "In fact, I have a more healthy lifestyle than you realize, it's necessary for my image!"

"Oh, really? I would have thought that idols didn't need to calculate a bunch of important things. I thought that their industries would make them have a strict diet." The boxer mused. "But then again, you and Kanade seem to be more independent from the regular industry."

"Yeah, me and Kanade have to compete against the regular industry a lot, but we got our talents for a reason. Kanade handles the legalities though, I'm not smart enough for those, but I can at least keep myself looking better than other idols." The vocalist began to explain. "Weekly exercise is important for me to lose weight and keep myself flexible enough to dance around on stage, but I can't work out too much or I might build up visible muscle. Not that it isn't a bad thing, but people expect idols to look only one way. It's kinda a toxic part of the idol industry and fan culture."

"Oh shit, that sounds really bad. I'm sorry you have to deal with that." Hajime sympathized as he picked up a weight of his own. It was a lot bigger than Hibiki's, but she either didn't notice or mind.

"I'm a lot smarter than I look too, even if I'm not good at some things. I actually have a strict diet to keep my body healthy too. Sure, I love sweets, but I know that I won't be able to stay model-thin if I don't take care of myself." The small girl added. "Though Mika's food is really good and healthy too...I might have to start exercising twice a week, just in case."

"Right, you don't want to end up losing your form because of his food. Maybe you should ask him to make you something to help you get more calcium, protein, or vitamins in you, maybe as a powermeal. He'd love to make any kind of food for anyone, and I know he likes a challenge." Hajime chuckled. "But his food is pretty good in terms of making people healthy. I've even seen the chronic overworker putting on a bit of weight. It's probably because he doesn't have to make the food himself whatsoever anymore."

"Yeah, I guess you'd know more about Kei than I do. He was still a little annoying when you knew him, right?" Hibiki laughed. "I don't know how he's gonna get a date in the future. At least when I marry someone, they won't be saying things like 'You're an idiot. I married an idiot.'"

"Hey, lay off him a little, will you? He's trying to get better with that, I think. Probably because he's running out of 'scoops' here, so he has to actually interact with people." The boxer sighed. "Give it a bit of time, he'll come around."

"Hm, I guess we'll see. Anyways, I wanna go run around the first island!" She suddenly exclaimed, putting her weight back. "Sure, I might be twenty-four centimeters shorter than Yuki, but I can still keep up a light jog pretty well! Um, even if I don't have the best stamina..."

"Sure, I'm down. I'll go slow for you." Hajime agreed, putting his own weight back as well. The two of them walked to the outside of the Monocruise and waited until they were on solid ground before started to lightly jog together.

Hibiki got tired halfway through their second lap, so they just walked all the way back to the ship, chatting and joking all the while. Hajime offered to train with her at least a couple times to help her stamina, but she declined on the grounds of not wanting to end up like poor Yuki.
