Shipping the SDRA2 Cast With Each Other

Hibikei/Nikei Yomiuri x Hibiki Otonokoji

It was a bright and sunny day. The skies were blue, the water was cold, and the sun was warm. It was a lovely, perfect day. Which meant that it was also the perfect opportunity to make some mischief.

The culprits today were none other than Hibiki Otonokoji and Nikei Yomiuri, who had wanted to make today more interesting for their dear classmates. Hibiki sent a text to Nikei, knowing that he couldn't resist a good joke, and as the vocalist suspected, the journalist immediately came to her room. They sat around her table and began to plot.

"So, you say that a group's gonna go to the beach tomorrow afternoon?" Nikei repeated. "And your prank has something to do with the swimsuits?"

"There's a bunch of paint bombs that only leak paint when they're wet, and they're in fabric containers. I think I've seen Roro use them for one of her paintings before, but she might use them for a lot more than that." Hibiki explained. "What I'm thinking is that we sneak them into the swimsuits. That way, when they go into the water, the paint will leak out and give them a surprise they won't forget!"

"That sounds fun, let's do it! Where are the paint bombs?" Nikei excitedly questioned. "Wait, there's the problem of the swimsuits being different colours. Not to mention that we might get caught."

"Don't worry about that, they're going at four-thirty in the afternoon!" The smaller girl assured. "If we begin our plan an hour before, then we won't get caught!"

That lunch, Nikei listened to the conversations the others were having. Apparently, the group that was going was Setsuka, Sora, Emma, Hajime, Iroha, and Yuri, the latter on the condition that he wasn't going to be creepy towards the girls. Kanade wanted to join them, but she suddenly got sick and couldn't come. She was the one that told Hibiki the time they were supposed to go in her feverish state.

After breakfast, Nikei kept himself occupied until three in the afternoon, when he was to meet up with Hibiki at the front of the Monocruise. When he arrived, he saw her holding a bunch of small, white pouches made of fabric. 

"I got the stuff!" Hibiki whispered. "Let's go to the pool, quickly!"

Nikei took some of the pouches from her and the two of them ran to the pool on the third island. They were out of breath by the time they arrived, but they were to excited and full of mischief to care. They raced to the boys locker room and began to look for the swimsuits that Hajime and Yuri preferred.

They were able to find them easily, and the white of the pouches were able to be hidden in the pockets of Hajime's swimsuit. With Yuri's it was a bit harder due to the lack of pockets, but Nikei managed to attach them to spots that would seem like the pockets would go. 

After they finished messing with those swimsuits, the two of them snuck into the girls locker room to set up those swimsuits as well. The vocalist and the journalist helped each other with deciding which pouches should go in which swimsuits, comparing which ones were thinner and thicker, and comparing which ones would be obvious or less obvious based on colour.

But as they quietly debated among themselves, a voice suddenly resounded behind them. "What the hell's going on here?" Sora questioned. Hibiki and Nikei whirled around, seeing Sora, Setsuka, Emma, and Iroha in the locker room with them.

Hibiki winced with a sheepish smile, not wanting to have been caught by both Sora and Setsuka, of all people. "We can explain...?" She whimpered out.

"A-Aren't those the paint pouches from the warehouse?" Iroha cautiously asked. All of the girls turned to her, as if demanding an explanation. "Those are pouches that have a bunch of watercolour paint shavings in them, and the paint comes out when its wet. I use them when I need to make a painting that requires more paint than what my palette can hold, and it's easier to carry around than dragging a bunch of paint bottles with me and dumping it all onto the palette."

"So, you guys were planning to paint bomb us?" Emma questioned. "And besides that, why are you in the girls locker room, Nikei?!"

"She put me up to it!" Nikei immediately replied, pointing to Hibiki.

"Hey, you're in this as much as I am!" The vocalist snapped. That's when she realized that they had both confessed to doing it, and the other girls were probably planning a 'punishment' for their attempted prank.

A few hours later, Hibiki and Nikei were carrying cutlery and plates while Mikado carried the platters of food. "Honestly, I'm not sure why you volunteered to help me serve food for a week, but I'm truly grateful for any help I can get!" The wizard chirped.

Nikei looked at Hibiki with a deadpan expression. "This is your fault, by the way." He grumbled.
