Chapter 68

⚠️ VIOLENCE ⚠️

It was Seonghwa but he looked different. He strode angrily towards somebody who was shackled to two stoned pillars. The shackled man proffered a wide grin when he saw him and Seonghwa slapped him across his face.

San's eyes returned to their normal color and he heaved a loud sigh now that air had returned to him. He looked around and saw that people were still fighting and most of Jongho's hair had turned red. The alpha banged his fists against the ground still screaming. He could no longer feel his soulmate.

Hwang Shik laughed.
"I'm guessing he was your mate. That's too bad. He's dead now."
Yunho glared at him as tears streamed down his face and Mingi was a little frantic. He knew he should quickly run to tell the King but he was worried of the current situation.

Jongho was enraged and his heart started to beat faster. He felt like he was going to die from pain and anger as his throat swelled. Without thinking, he got up and in mere seconds, he was in front of Hwang Shik and punched him to the ground.
He didn't know where the sudden strength came from and he felt like he wasn't really in control of his body; just like before.

Hwang Shik was taken by surprise. His lip was busted and when he gathered himself properly and spit, his tooth escaped with the bloody saliva. He stood up and looked to Jongho who's eyes were blood red. The alpha seemed like a completely different person.

Jongho went to punch him again but Hwang Shik grabbed his fist. He aimed his second fist but Hwang Shik grabbed it as well and banged his forehead against the prince's.
Yunho came running to help him but was stopped by a Baek alpha almost twice his size. He pulled out his sword ready to fight. Mingi ran to help him but he too was blocked by another Baek soldier and had no choice but to fight as well.

When Seonghwa saw Yeosang bleeding, he panicked and attempted to use the blanket to stop the bleeding. He held Yeosang's hand against his chest and saw as blood escaped his lips.

"YEOSANG? YEOSANG?!" He screamed for his  friend but there was no reply. He checked his pulse in his neck but it was very faint and barely detectable.

"If you don't move, I'm shooting you next!" Mei threatened. Seonghwa glared at her and began healing the omega through the hand he was holding. His eyes shined gold catching Mei off guard.

"What are you doing? I'm going to shoot!" She warned. She was no longer under Hwang Shik's control as the task she was commanded had been completed. She saw as color returned to Yeosang's body and realized what was going on.

She shot again, aiming at Seonghwa but the beta ducked and hovered over the prince. She shot at him again and again, bullets striking his back as he protected his friend. He screamed in pain clutching Yeosang harder.

It's ..ok. I'm fine..I won't..die. But..Yeo-

He coughed up blood a little shocked but stood his ground unrelenting.

Jasmine had waken up to loud gunshots being fired. She ran to where the noise came from and saw a boy hovering over another boy as Mei continued to shoot him.

Seonghwa put all his power into healing Yeosang that his body wasn't able to heal himself properly. He started to feel the pain a lot more and began screaming. Mars, who was rudely awakened, attempted to come out but couldn't because of the immense pain and shock the body was receiving. 
Mars suddenly became afraid as their heartbeat slowed down and in attempt to save themselves, their body went into overdrive.

Jasmine saw that the boy underneath Seonghwa was blond and quickly assumed him to be Yeosang. She pulled open the gate to stop Mei from shooting but as soon as she entered, Seonghwa screamed loudly and his hair began to change from a sleek black to a beautiful gold matching his eyes. He screamed again and his head shot up at the woman. Mei stopped shooting and stared in shock.
