San was feeling apprehensive. The meeting was finally over and he could feel the tingles coursing throughout his body. Royals were saying their goodbyes and greeting one another before leaving. San was about to follow Tae Oh when Sang Uk pulled him to the side.

"You're Soojin's kid right? The beta?"
San nodded.
"Be smart and advice her not to get-"
San's eyes flashed green startling the King in front of him. He put his hand into a fist and when his eyes returned to normal, he dismissed himself with a small bow and ran to find Tae Oh.

When San checked his room and couldn't find him, he became a little agitated. He saw his assistant standing near the exit and questioned her.

"He said he was going to the bathroom," she answered.

San tutted and ran straight for the destination. He knocked on the door but immediately realized how foolish he was when he heard nothing.

Without hesitation, he opened it and found it empty as well. The beta was confused as he wasn't sure where else he could be. The area was quiet now as most of the Royals had already began their departure. He decided to check his room one more time and was glad he did because he was just on time.

The raven haired woman had just pulled out a small sword and attempted to attack the omega. San ran in front of him to block her attack with his own dagger.

"Run!" He ordered and Tae Oh didn't waste any time. The alpha attempted to strike at him again but San used the chance that she was distracted to stab her shoulder. She yelled in pain and turned to San to attack.

The beta evaded her every time waiting for his chance to strike again. He got closer when he noticed her moves beginning to dull but right when he was about to slit her throat, his heart stopped.

The dagger fell from his hands and clattered against the ground loudly. His hands trembled and he felt like he couldn't move. There was a sharp shocking pain that shook his heart causing him to clutch at his chest and groan in pain as his knees fell to the ground.

The alpha had no idea what was going on but figured now was a perfect time to strike. As she was about to, the door swung opened and Mingi kicked her to the ground.

"San! Are you alright?" He asked worriedly. Tae Oh who had called him, tapped the beta but he didn't respond. The alpha stood back up and Mingi punched her again before picking San up and running straight for the exit.

Soojin was very alarmed to find her son in the alpha's arms and Woohyung who was near the carriage became worried as well.

"What happened?" She ran up to meet him.
"I.. I don't know he was fighting that alpha but when I got there he was on the floor and wouldn't move or answer when I called him and he looked like he was in pain and I wasn't sure if I shou-"
"It's ok. Is he hurt?" Woohyung asked and checked his pulse.
"No I don't think so.. I don't know."
"There's a town a few miles from here. I'm sure they have a doctor," the King informed.
"Ok let's go."

"Must be nice being a water beta. They always get to do the fun stuff," Julian commented as he laid on the floor of the main deck.
"Shouldn't you be looking out?" Layla questioned.
"Kei's doing it."
"And where's Kira?"
"Probably fell asleep in the crows nest or something."
"Heavens I'm surrounded by idiots," she murmured.
"Well maybe if you-"

A loud blaring sound interrupted their bickering and Julian was immediately on his feet. He pulled down his special goggles and ran up the ladder to see what was going on.

"What is it?" Layla asked worriedly.
"I'm not sure but I think they've been found out. Shit." He climbed up the mast to get a better view and saw guards surrounding the building.
