Yunho and Mingi made their way to the throne room to report to the King. They were informed that it was currently occupied and decided to go eat while they waited.

Yunho grabbed Mingi's hand, taking the younger by surprise as he never displayed affection in public. The alpha blushed and smiled at him.
When they entered the dining hall, the Kingsmen all shifted their gaze to them and Yunho instantly let go of Mingi's hand. It made the alpha upset but he tried not to let it bother him. They ate quietly until Jongho joined them a while later.

"What have you been up to all day?" Yunho asked him.
"Just helping around the castle," Jongho stated.
"When are you going home?" Mingi asked.
"I'm not."
"What do you mean?" Yunho questioned.
"Not until Yeosang wakes up. I have to take him with me."
"With you where?" Yunho raised a brow at the younger.
Jongho studied both their expressions and realized they may not have known.
"Yeosang was supposed to move in with us a month ago," he answered.
"WHAT?!" Mingi slammed the table.
"He didn't tell us this," Yunho said rather softly.
"Well yeah. We were attacked so the plan fell through," Jongho stated calmly.
"But he should've still told us earlier," Mingi whined.
Yunho wasn't too surprised. Knowing Yeosang, he was most likely going to tell them right before he entered the carriage.

"Father should be done now. Let's go," he tapped the table and motioned for Mingi to follow him.
Jongho continued to eat his food, an idea coming to mind.

"My sons! How are you doing!" The King beamed when they entered the throne room. Mingi felt giddy when he heard that and smiled.
"Your son is doing great!" Yunho mirrored his enthusiasm masking his slight annoyance.

"What do you mean? You're both my sons. My birth son and my son in-law."
"Father!" Yunho raised his voice, his cheeks tinting pink. The blush on Mingi's face only grew as the King laughed.
"What do you have for me?"
Mingi placed his hand horizontally against his  forehead and began.

"The people in town are not doing so well. Everywhere is crowded and some soldiers have even taken over civilian houses. The medical shelter is crowded as well and it's not looking good as a fever seemed to be spreading through the patients."
The King thought for a moment then turned to his son.

"The Lee Kingdom has space but their King is currently very sick. I wanted to come inform you and ask if it was ok to send people there. However upon deeper inspection, I realized that most of the civilians were already situated and comfortable and everybody else was injured so I wasn't really sure how to go about it," he finished his report.

The King looked between the boys and felt an idea rush to his mind. Now was the perfect time to test them.

"Oh well. I guess they'll just have to suffer. Bury the ones who die so there can be more space."
Mingi stared at the King a little shocked. He'd never expect him to say something so morbid. Yunho was utterly baffled.

"What do you mean father? Shouldn't we do something?" His son asked.
"Like you said, the civilians don't want to leave and the injured can't. What do you expect me to do?" He shrugged his shoulders. Yunho scoffed.
"I already planned to take the people from the public house and the ones who's house are currently taken over by soldiers. Then there would be more space and we could open another shelter," he proposed.

Hmm that's a pretty good idea. He's my son after all. The King smiled.

"So why didn't you just do that?" He asked like it was obvious.
"I came to ask for your approval."
"This is your duty son. You're to be King. You don't need to ask for my approval, though I do need to be notified," he stated clearly.
Yunho finally realized what his father was trying to tell him.
"And that's what Mingi's for." The alpha perked a little confused until he understood and nodded.
