Yunho woke up feeling terrible. His head hurt and he felt like his throat was on fire. He found some water on his bedside and eagerly drank it. He checked the time and realized it was already night time. Suddenly everything came flowing to his mind as he remembered the night prior. His eyes teared up and he squeezed his pillow. He saw a note on his bedside and read it.

'Use two tablets from the jar and take a soothing bath. It'll help you feel better.'
-Mari.

Yunho sat up and decided to try. He used the medicine and prepared a hot bath for himself. He poured in a few scented roses and took off his clothes. He tried not to cry when he noticed the still present love marks behind his neck and on his shoulders.

The prince sat in the tub and relaxed as the hot water melted his skin and soothed his soreness. He tried not to think about the alpha but he still couldn't make sense of it.

Mingi wouldn't do this unless it was serious. So what's the problem? If I can just figure that out then I can solve everything. He did say that it was just a break. He won't leave me. He can't. I'm sure he loves me just as much..

Yunho's cheeks tinted pink. He couldn't believe he had let himself go like that. His heart beat faster as the situation became more real to him.

"I'm in love with Song Mingi."

The King was waiting for his morning meeting to be over so he could check on his son. He was worried now especially since Mingyu was absent.
He tapped his finger against the table and everybody knew it was time to wrap it up. He waited for all of them to leave before standing up. The door opened to reveal just the son he was going to go check on.

"Yunho! Are you ok? How are you feeling?" He beamed and walked up to his son for a hug. The prince returned it and smiled.

"I'm feeling much better."
"Good. Good. What happened? Did you fight with Mingi?"
"Yes. But I'm fine," he said casually.
"Don't lie to me Yunho."
The prince averted his fathers gaze and held back his tears.

"We separated."
The King was shocked.
"Who?"
"Me and Mingi."
"No who broke it off first?"
"..Mingi.." he said softly as a tear slid down his cheek. The King headed straight for the door but Yunho pulled his sleeve to stop him and shook his head, tears spilling everywhere.

"I'm ok father. It's all right. I'll get over it."
"No you won't. And it's not alright. I'm not ok. Did he at least tell you why?"
The prince sadly shook his head.
"That idi-"
"Father please! I'll- we'll figure it out ourselves," he pleaded and pulled harder on his sleeve. The King relented and hugged his son.

Yunho decided to check on his brother knowing he would have been crying. He knocked loudly on the door and soon enough it opened, though it wasn't who he expected.

San became alert as his eyes shot open.
"Who is it?" Wooyoung asked and Yunho entered with a bright smile on his face. Wooyoung scowled at him as tears filled his eyes. He ran up to his big brother and hit his chest.

"Why are you smiling? It's not funny. I was worried about you. I was so scared," he hit him again and again. Yunho pulled him into a hug and held him tightly as he cried. San felt left out so he joined them.

"So what happened? Mingi wouldn't tell me anything," Wooyoung said now that they were all seated on his bed. Yunho sighed.

"We're just taking a break. I was sad at first but I'm fine now."
"Why are you taking a break? You love each other."
"There's nothing wrong with taking a break youngie. We just need to focus on ourselves more."
