Chapter 109

"You have a baby inside you!?" Seonghwa asked shocked. Yeosang nodded with a smile.
"How? How did that happen?"
The room grew awkwardly quiet and Yeosang's face turned red.

"Let's eat!" Soojin exclaimed and everybody moved around to begin eating except Seonghwa who was a little upset that his question was ignored.

"Congratulations," Hongjoong smiled at the omega.
"Thank you."

Seonghwa watched as everybody ate quietly. The air seemed a little thick and he looked around waiting for somebody to begin talking but nobody did.

"Why is everybody so quiet?" He asked.
They all looked to each other a little awkwardly, except Yeosang.

"Because some people are in a disagreement about what I should do with my body," Yeosang remarked unabashedly.
Seonghwa was confused by that and Hongjoong felt a little out of place.

"What do you mean?"
"Giving birth is not easy Seonghwa. So my father and the Queen don't want me to have the child," he explained as if they were the only ones in the room. Seonghwa nodded a little upset but he tried to stay positive.

"Don't worry Sang. I'm a doctor now. I'll take care of you!"
Yeosang smiled and reached his hand across the table for the beta's. The beta smiled and held his hand. Soojin looked to Hongjoong and decided to ask a question.

"What do you think Hongjoong?"
The alpha looked at her a little bemused.
"Do you think it's too risky? Yeosang had anemia but ever since Seonghwa saved him, he's completely healed and even has a bit of his ability. What do you think about this? You're the expert here."
Hongjoong rolled his eyes at that but thought about it.

"Well, Seonghwa is of celestial descent so his ability has nothing to do with being a beta, at least the healing one," he started.
Jiwoo furrowed her brows.
"There's more?" She asked.
"Uhm ya... From what I know, Seonghwa, being of celestial descent, was born with an ability and since he's a fire beta and they always have an ability once they present, he got another one. But I guess because of his first one, it's just a reflection of the healing one."
"What is it?" Soojin asked.
"He can now take the pain he's received or healed and give it to someone else."

The Queens looked to the beta quite shocked. 

"I don't think it will go away but I'm not sure because I don't know much about celestial abilities. But if his anemia does end up coming back, then now would be the perf- wait!" He glanced at Yeosang curiously and everybody stared at him in anticipation.

"We've only been here a little over a month, how did y'all..?"
Yeosang's face turned beet red for the third time that night and Jongho looked away.

"But how did you find out so early?"
"The scent. Can't you smell his scent has changed a little?" Soojin told him.
"Yes but doesn't that scent only appear around 2 months into pregnancy?"
Soojin and Jiwoo looked to each other as realization hit them and they both nodded.

"Yes. My scent didn't change until I was 3 months in," Jiwoo confirmed.
"And his eyes changed color," Jongho added hoping the information would be useful.
"His eyes? When?"
"At the marriage ceremony."

Hongjoong was a bit dumbfounded.

Jain explained something about this before. She said something about how the body only prepares for pregnancy when it's ready...
But I'm sure with anemia and after being abducted- HUAH!

He looked to Yeosang again as a thought hit him. The omega stared back at him weirdly, waiting for him to speak.

Since he's perfectly healthy now thanks to Seonghwa, his body obviously prepared for it.. but..could that?..no way..
