The sun had set and the ball had just begun as lamps were lit and music was played. 21 was an important year for a prince, especially the oldest. Though it was common knowledge that the oldest child was crowned prince or princess (unless they weren't an alpha and another sibling was), they weren't ever announced as crowned prince until their 21st birthday; 3 years before their expected ascension.

There wasn't much to be done besides that. And because everybody knew of the prince's personality and that he would soon become King in the near future, not many were surprised to find him enter the ballroom in a typical formal attire.

Yunho sat on his knees and performed a complete bow in front of his father, placing his hands in front of him and resting his head on it.

"I now announce you Jung Yunho, crown prince of Jung kingdom!" The King said as he placed a gold coronet on his head. The crowned prince stood up and bowed to his people. Everybody clapped and howled accepting him as their new crowned prince.

After Yunho descended the platform, the music started again and people began to make their way to the center with their partners for a slow dance.

Jongho had asked Yeosang for a dance and Wooyoung, San. Hyun Ah entered a few minutes later in a beautiful red dress and Tae Oh looked completely shocked as if he wasn't the one who gave it to her. After a few short minutes, they made their way to the center as well. Yunho smiled at them wondering where his lover was.

Sung Kyung and a refurbished looking Joongi suddenly appeared in front of him.

"My! My little dongsaeng is all grown up," she wiped away a fake tear with one hand, a glass of champagne in the other. Yunho smiled at her and raised his head a little proudly. Joongi smiled at their interaction.

"Where's that alpha of yours? I want to.." she trailed off, her eyes turning to the door where a few people were gasping as a red headed alpha entered the room wearing a beautiful emerald dress.

"Mingi? Ya I was looki.." he turned his head to where her eyes gazed and his eyes widened very surprised to find his lover wearing a dress. There was a few whispers here and there and some people who were dancing even became distracted as they watched him turn his head a few times until his gaze landed on the prince.

When their eyes met, Yunho's face flushed pink and he stared at his lover a bit stunned and awestruck. He looked absolutely breathtaking and Yunho wanted nothing more than to pin him to the wall and fuck him senseless. There was a cute smile on his face as he skipped happily towards them waving his hand that held a matching silver bonding bracelet.

Joongi's eyes almost popped out of his head and Sung Kyung was surprised to say the least. He bowed at them before linking his arm around the prince's.

"What..what are you wearing kid?" Joongi asked still shocked.
"A dress of course. You like it?"
"I love it! You look great," Sung Kyung complimented enthusiastically.
"Thank you," the alpha smiled softly.

"And though I must commend you on the reason for your little mishap," she said pointing between the both of them, "I have to ask you to never do that again."
Mingi nodded seriously and Sung Kyung slightly heaved.
"Hmm..maybe I do like you after all."
Yunho chuckled at that.

"I'm seeing you two together a lot more often. Is Noona perhaps your escort?" Yunho teased.

Joongi cleared his throat and fixed his composure. He attempted to place a hand on her shoulder but the alpha was one step ahead of him.

"Yes she is. We're-" Sung Kyung grabbed his hand before it could reach her shoulder and placed it against himself with a little pat.

"Let's not confuse reality with wishful thinking hmm?" She said softly and pat his head before walking away.
Yunho snorted and Mingi couldn't help but laugh. Joongi sighed shooting a quick scowl at his nephew before turning around to follow her.
