The rain was getting worse and Mingi still wasn't home. Mingyu was worried. Any other day, he wouldn't have bothered and went to sleep knowing his son was with the prince but he knew that wasn't the case.

He paced the living room back and forth, his fingers red from biting them. Mingi was strong so he wasn't too worried about him being hurt, but if he wasn't with the prince at this time, then he was probably stuck in the rain and he had just recovered from being sick. He couldn't handle his son being sick again.

The door busted open and Mingyu ran towards the sound. He saw Joongi standing at the entrance with a drenched Mingi behind him. The black haired alpha moved to the side for his nephew.

"Enter!" He ordered and Mingi did so immediately.
Mingyu ran up to his son who was creating a puddle where he stood and wiped his face.

"Where were you? What happened?" His eyes began to water.
"I'm sorry. I'm ..I'm so sorry," he cried. Seeing his dad's face stricken with worry just made him feel worse.
"For what? Did you do something bad?"
Mingi hugged him and bent his head down to rest on his shoulder.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't realize. I'm sorry."
Mingyu's clothes were becoming wet but he didn't care and hugged him back to comfort him.
"What is it son?"
"I didn't realize you were scared when I got sick. I'm sorry. I felt better so I didn't think it mattered," he explained. Mingyu sniffled.
"And ...and Uncle ...uncle he.." the boy choked not being able to finish his sentence. Mingyu hugged him tighter to console him and cried as well.

Joongi sighed with relief and closed the door behind him.

The dining table was filled with an array of different types of food. Seonghwa let his eyes roam everything, moving his head closer every time he saw something interesting.
Soojin and Jiwoo sat in their seats at the end of the table. Hongjoong sat down and called Seonghwa to sit down with him.

San was the first to arrive and Seonghwa jumped from his seat to hug him. The green haired was a bit surprised, but accepted the action and smiled.

"San! How are you doing?" Seonghwa asked excitedly.
"I'm great. How about you? You seem lively."
"Yes because I get to live with Joongie!"
San eyed the alpha who's ears were tinting pink and smirked.
"Is that so? Good for you Seonghwa."

A few minutes later, Yeosang and Jongho joined them.
"Oh you changed," Soojin commented pointing out Yeosang's attire.
"Yeah..it was a little hot in the carriage," he lied.
Jongho snorted but pulled back a chair for the omega.

They said a small grace and began eating. Soojin started conversation and made a few small talk. She found it cute the way Seonghwa's eyes grew every time he tasted something new and enjoyed it.

When dinner was over, she was feeling a little joyous and asked for some wine to be brought.

"Jina, it's late," Jiwoo whispered to her but she didn't listen.
"And that's the best time to drink."

They were all poured a glass and the bottle was left in the middle for seconds.

"Now let's raise our glasses and rejoice. We've done well," she declared, raising her glass first. They all followed and clicked their glasses together before taking a sip.

Yeosang was already a little regretful thinking he wasn't going to like it but was surprised by the sweet savor. Seonghwa downed the whole thing at once and Hongjoong had to do a double take before stopping him though it was too late.

"Mmhhmm that was so sweet!" He exclaimed, his face already a light shade of pink.
"Oh no," Hongjoong muttered.
"Right?! Would you like some more?" Soojin asked and Seonghwa nodded enthusiastically.
