Light mentions of depression.

"You know I think we should just give up on Woo. There's too many anyway," Jongho broke the silence. Yeosang laughed a little annoyed since he was finally falling asleep.

"I agree. I was thinking we should add Hyun instead. Somewhat of a replacement for Hyung."
"Hmm.. that's nice. ..How about Ji Hyun?"

Yeosang raised his head and smiled at that.
"I like that."
He frowned.
"But what of Queen mother? She'll be upset."
Jongho rolled her eyes.
"Let her be. She still thinks she's a boy anyways."

Yeosang laughed at that and continued resting his head on the alpha's chest. Jongho rubbed his back and they slowly fell asleep.

San was a bit restless. He felt excited and overwhelmed at the same time. They'd be leaving for the Royal meeting tomorrow afternoon and he was a bit anxious. Soojin had already told him that there wasn't much to worry about but his thoughts wouldn't let him calm down.

He thought to take a tonic to help him sleep better but he didn't want to risk it like last time. That was another reason he couldn't sleep. He was afraid of having another scarring vision.

From his peripheral side, he saw the stuffed toy cat that Wooyoung had presented him with.
The omega hadn't come visit him since their last outing and he was a bit disappointed. He missed him and was too busy but also a little scared to go see him. A tired sigh emitted from him and he held the stuffed doll close.

"Byeol. I'll call you Byeol."

Seonghwa woke up excited and Hongjoong worried. A few days ago, Mari had stopped by with news. One he didn't like.

"I never got to finish examining that day since he ran away but I figured out why his heartbeat is so irregular. It matches the same rhythm of those that are usually depressed from lost of a mate and stress. So though he may not die from physical pain, he could from mental."

Hongjoong hated that he hadn't thought of it before. With everything Seonghwa had been through, it'd make sense that he could be depressed, but he never acted like it. Mari had said it was because it wasn't serious and that his body being able to heal himself probably caused him to project it differently. He was perfectly fine and healthy now, but she only told him as a cautious reminder.

"Joongie! I'm going into town today!" The beta said excitedly. He had an hour until he had to leave but he was already dressed and ready to go. Hongjoong smiled at him.

"Why are you wearing specs?"
"These are special specs Joongie. Jongho gave them to me on my birthday remember? It helps with examining patients," he explained.

Hongjoong stood up and moved closer to him. He wrapped his arms around his waist, taking the beta by surprise.

"That's good. You like being a doctor right?"
Seonghwa nodded promptly.
"Does it make you happy?"
"Very much."

Mingi had the biggest headache. He was running on a total of 5 hours of sleep in the past 4 days. Between checking on the towns, reporting different kingdoms and looking over the notes for the Royal meeting, he was physically drained.

The main thing the alpha was focused on was Tae Oh's ascension. It was a bit absurd to him how big of a deal it was but then again, he could understand. The King's role was of utmost importance. No King was better than a disrespected King. He was learning that the hard way.

He was going over the notes in his head again when his thoughts were interrupted.

Do you know what Tae Oh's occupation is?
Before he could realize what was going on, his mind already answered.
