Chapter 125

Yunho was once again looking for his alpha. It was a bit nerve wracking since he usually never had to unless they were fighting. Mingi was always just right beside him.

He smelled his scent near the courtyard and paced towards it. It wasn't until he was near the barracks that he found him talking to Ha Yeon. She was making a stern face at him until they both bursted in a fit of giggles.

Yunho would never admit it but he was feeling a little jealous. He wasn't foolish enough to think that Mingi didn't love him anymore but for the past few days, ever since he had seen Mingi carrying her on his back, he's been seeing them together a lot more. They've barely had much time for themselves yet he managed to spend time with her. It annoyed him.

"For real?! Joo Hyuk Hyung?" Mingi exclaimed and the beta nodded.
"Wait, you know him?"
"Yea. He's practically my big brother. But he's really quiet."
"I know but it's cute."

Mingi giggled again but froze when he heard his name being called as the prince's scent neared.
"Shit!" He muttered.

Ha Yeon noticed Yunho coming closer and she was about to leave until Mingi held her wrist. Her brows furrowed and her eyes widened at the same time. Mingi gave her a stern look and when she glanced at Yunho, he was practically glaring at her.

Ha Yeon wanted to just disappear. She's noticed that the prince either didn't like her or was just annoyed that she spent time with Mingi which was why she often tried to speak to him telepathically. However, this time, Mingi had sought her out to speak with her.

"Remember what I told you ok? Don't forget it," the alpha said suddenly serious.
"Yes sir!" She replied formally as Yunho neared them. She tried to pry her wrist away but his grip was strong.

"Mingi! You didn't hear me call you? I've been looking for you," Yunho said with an awfully sweet smile. Said alpha turned to face him, his hand still holding the beta's wrist.

"Oh sorry. I probably didn't notice. I was talking to a friend," he said and briefly held up the hand he was holding. The prince glared at that and Ha Yeon flinched.

"Well that's fine. I wanted to talk to you though." His sweet smile was back but scarier than ever.
"Sure. What about?"

Yunho was practically fuming and he made eye contact with the alpha then glanced back to their connected hands. Ha Yeon felt uncomfortable and tried to pry her hand away but Mingi wouldn't let go.

Stupid. Let go! Can't you see he's upset?

Just wait.

Ha Yeon eyed him quizzically and a small smirk played at Mingi's lips. Yunho mistook their interaction as something completely different and tried his best to suppress his anger.

"In private please."

He shot a quick glare at the beta and grabbed the hand that was holding her wrist then pulled the alpha behind him. They walked for a while, Yunho looking straight ahead and Mingi being dragged behind him trying his best to suppress his laughter as he glimpsed the death grip his omega had on him.

Mingi was surprised when Yunho suddenly pinned him to the back wall of the courtyard. It was a bit queer how they always ended up here. The same place where they confessed and separated. He had mixed emotions about the spot.

"Are you testing me?" Yunho critiqued. He looked upset but for some reason Mingi didn't mind.

"What?" The alpha asked rather confused.
"Don't play dumb Mini," he deadpanned.
Mingi hated the way his heart fluttered at the nickname.
"You trying to make me jealous or something? Well it won't work."
