you had to see him almost everyday but none of you talked with each other but still hung out due to your friends. they'd cooperate with you all too, they knew you'd feel awkward so they'd try their best to cheer up and not pay attention to that but could you?
no, not at all.
all you saw or thought was junkyu who looked happier on outside but broke as much as you were. seeing him everyday was torture.

Hwamin POV
currently, you're sitting in a new chinese restaurant that had just opened in a mall the gang used to hang out alot at. soojin and hyunsuk made a plan what they named as 'reminiscing our golden days' to sneak out and gather your og squad together, that meant junkyu too.
sitting around a round table, jihoon is sitting next to you, and beside him is junkyu, and then hyunsuk, then soojin, then BX, then sua, then sungyoon. you're pretty sure sungyoon is tagging along because he knew sua was coming but that's another story.
you shake your head at the waiter when he offers you a menu, instead lean your head on jihoon's shoulder, looking at the menu in his hand. he's flipping through it carefully, as if making sure he'd pick the best one.
"jihoon-ah?" sua calls after a while, looking at you, too. "any addition? we've all ordered enough but if you want to add something, it's okay, too."
"just put yours on order first, i'm still flipping through the menu," jihoon says.
"if you've ordered enough for all of us, then i'm good." you shrug, still hogging to jihoon.
hyunsuk snickers, shaking his head at jihoon. "he's always like that. he probably memorized all the menu he has seen by now."
the younger guy doesn't even bother to reply, just mockingly nods at him as you laugh at the banter.
with jihoon still flipping through the menu, you've somehow made it your mission to annoy your friend by answering his mumbling as he whispers to himself.
"huh? this looks so good? But i kinda want dumpling, too."
"they probably ordered dumpling already, you know?" you say, nodding to yourself.
