"no this can't be real, this can't be happening right now" her mind spoke in her head

the one she was trying to avoid all these years was standing right in front of her, her mind went blank

she was brought out of her thoughts when soojin caressed her back lightly asked her if she was okay

junkyu looked happier, she had seen the contents the group had been releasing and living with jinhee there was no way you could avoid it. she had seen junkyu looked happier and doing better than ever, it was as if her sacrifice worked, a bitter smile was on her face.

"minnie-yah, sua-yah wah it's been so long" jihoon said bringing everyone back to senses

"i almost didn't recognize you minnie-yah! you look prettier ㅋㅋㅋㅋ" hyunsuk joked

"yah oppa! im here too!" sua whined to which the elder laughed in response teasingly

"you look pretty too sua-yah, you guys are finally debuting, our dream is finally coming true, all of ours"

"yea we made it" doyoung said looking proud

"GIRLS" their manager called them to shift to another room

"are you okay junkyu-yah?" hyunsuk and jihoon asked worriedly

"ofcourse why wouldn't i be" he laughed and went to join the rest of the boys

"he's lying right" jihoon asked the other two

"clearly, it was as if he had seen a ghost" doyoung said

"Why are you so fascinated with it?" junkyu asks, gazing at his girlfriend's fingers caressing his cross necklace.

hwamin glances at where her fingers are holding the necklace.

"I just think it is so representative of you, kyu. You always wear it, and I find that touching and special." hwamin replied

The cross has been around his neck for years. He seems to continue to replace it, and you're unsure what has happened to the previous ones. For a while, it had been a full crucifix, complete with the body of Christ hanging on it. There was even a time when a Star of David had been nestled next to it. But the most recent one, this simple silver cross, with no added adornment, this was her favorite. She looked for it in every picture - just to make sure he's still wearing it.

Shrugging, he says, "I'm just lazy to take it off"

She chuckles, "I don't believe that, goofy. You take off your earrings at. But you never take off the cross."

"It's important to me" he mysteriously intones, and she wanted so much more of an explanation. Over the last few months, though, you've learned not to question him when he shuts down like this. Otherwise he closes himself off even further. So she changes the subject.

"so what was the monthly evaluation like for you?"

"well same old thing, we were told to work hard, he kept on picking faults" he shrugged "you?"
