Part 16 - Girly Talk

*Everyone eventually leaves except Nat and Wanda*

Nat: "Did we interrupt something earlier? Between you and Steve"

Y/N: "Oh, no that was nothing. I think he was just glad I'd woken up. Just like you guys were"

Nat: "He was definitely more than just glad. He didn't leave your side the whole time"

Y/N: "What.."

Wanda: "Yeah, even when we all visited, he wouldn't say anything, he'd just wait by the door, probably not wanting to miss the moment you woke up"

Y/N: "Wow, I mean I knew how he felt before, but that was a couple months ago. I thought he'd be over it by now.."

Nat: "I don't think he'll ever be over you"

*You chat with Nat and Wanda a bit longer*

Y/N: "Can I ask you both something?"

"Just before I woke up, I actually heard Tony and Steve talking. Does Tony really blame himself for what happened?"

Wanda: "Um, yeah"

"He's been beating himself up about it. He's been up till crazy hours of the morning trying to figure out a way to find Thanos"

Y/N: "God.."

"He knows it's not his fault right?"

Nat: "That's not how he sees it. He put you on that mission so when you got hurt, he blamed himself"

Wanda: "And when you didn't wake up straight away...well I've never seen him like that"

Y/N: "Really? Wow I had no idea he cared so much about his team"

Nat: "Tony cares about us all. But this..this is different. Only Rhodey said he'd seen him like this before"

Wanda: "I think Tony cares about you more than you know"
