Part 20 - Sam's Birthday Party

*You go to your room to get ready for the party*

*You've finished your hair and make up, and just put your dress on when there's a knock at the door*

Y/N: "Who is it?"

Thor: "Hey it's me, safe to come in?"

Y/N: "Yeah all good"

*You turn round as he opens the door*

Thor: "Wow Tremors, you scrub up nicely"

*You're wearing a simple but elegant black dress with a deep v neck and a slit up to your thigh*

Y/N: "Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself"

Thor: "Ha Y/N, I'm a god, I always look good"

*You roll your eyes and laugh*

Y/N: "Anyway, what's up?"

*Although you're close with Nat, and you're rekindling your old friendship with Wanda, Thor is like a big brother to you. You've told him about your talk with Tony*

Thor: "You spoken to Steve yet?"

Y/N: "No..I haven't had a chance"

Thor: "Well I don't need to tell you what Tony is like when he's had a few drinks, but I wouldn't let Steve see you two getting too close"

Y/N: "I know, maybe I can find a moment tonight to talk to him"

*Nat and Bruce walk passed your door*

Nat: "Looking good girl, you coming?"

Y/N: "Yep right behind you"

Bruce: "You look lovely Y/N"

Y/N: "Thank you Bruce"

*The party is in full swing when you get downstairs*

Y/N: "I'm gonna go find Sam, wish him happy birthday"

Thor: "Okay, and I'm going to go over there" *He points to a group of 3 gorgeous women*

Y/N: "Of course you are"

*He winks and walks off*

*You spot Sam so you head over to him*

Y/N: "Hey birthday boy, feel any older yet?"

Sam: "Haha don't remind me"

*Whilst your chatting with Sam, you catch someone's eye*

Sam: "I think you've got an admirer"

*You turn to see where he's looking*

*You see Tony and he starts walking over*

Sam: "I'll leave you to it"

Y/N: "Hi there"

Tony: "Hey you"

Y/N: "Apparently you've been staring"

Tony: "How can I not? Look at you"

*You blush*

Tony: "Wanna dance?"

"Come on, let's dance"

*He takes your hand*

Y/N: "Tony..! I haven't spoken to Steve yet, what if he sees us getting close"

Tony: "It's just dancing"

 "Am I making you uncomfortable?"

Y/N: "A little, yeah. Well not uncomfortable, just nervous"

Tony: "Look, we're at a party, we're just dancing. It's fine"

Y/N: "Okay fine, just dancing. So don't try anything.."

Tony: "I mean, that's gonna be hard.."

Y/N: "Tony.."

Tony: "Okay okay, I promise"

Y/N: "Good"

*He just stares at you for a moment*

"Why are looking at me like that?"

Tony: "Because you're cute when you're strict"

Y/N: *you laugh nervously* "Stop it"

*You look away for him*

*As you do, you notice a few people are looking at you and Tony*

*Your face drops and your breathing gets a little heavier*

Tony: "What's wrong?"

Y/N: "I-I...I need to go"

*You run off*

*Tony turns round but just sees Nat walking over to him*

Nat: "Hey, what was that all about?"

Tony: "I have no idea. But I'll go find out"

*Tony finds you outside on the balcony*

Tony: "Hey, you ran off pretty quick back there, did I do something?"

Y/N: "No, no it wasn't you. It was nothing. I just needed some air"

Tony: "I don't believe you. That wasn't nothing"

Y/N: "Honestly I'm fine. Thank you though"

*It's silent for a while*

*You're both just looking at each other*

*He leans in to kiss you*

Y/N: "Tony...we really shouldn't"

Tony: "Oh, ok"

Y/N: "Look, it's not like I don't want to. I just really should to talk to Steve first"

*Tony looks at you*

Y/N: "Don't look at me like that! I did say don't try anything" *you smirk*

"You can't charm me into kissing you Stark"

Tony: "Reckon I could try"

Y/N: "You're such an ass"

Tony: "But you still like me"

*You roll your eyes*

*He leans in again but this time you kiss*
