Part 23 - An Uninvited Party Guest

*You slowly pull away from the kiss*

Y/N: "We should probably head back down to the party"

Tony: *eye roll* "Fine"

Y/N: "Also, I don't think we should tell the others about Steve till the morning, at least not Sam, I'd rather not ruin his birthday"

Tony: "Yeah, sure"

*You both head back to the party*

Y/N: "Oh shit."

"Well at least we didn't ruin his birthday"

*You look down at the main area and see Loki has arrived and a drunk Thor is getting ready to fight him*

Tony: "Well, this could be fun to watch, bit of party entertainment!"

Y/N: "Two Asgardians, one of which is drunk and yielding a very powerful hammer, fighting in a room full of civilians?"

Tony: "Yeah I should suit up and get the people out shouldn't I?

Y/N: "Yep"

"And I get the fun job of trying to convince the drunk god of thunder that this isn't a good idea!"

*While Tony and the others are getting all the party guests out, you head down to where Thor and Loki are*

Thor: "Why are you here brother?"

Loki: "Well I heard there was a party, and I didn't want to miss out this time"

Y/N: "Well sorry to disappoint but looks like the party's over, time to leave"

Loki: *he looks at you and starts walking over*

"And who might you be?"

Y/N: "Y/N"

Loki: "Well, Y/N"

*He uses the point of his staff to lift up your chin*

"I suggest you stay out of this, this is a..family matter"

Thor: "Don't you dare hurt her, Loki"

*He attempts to throw his hammer at Loki, but in his drunken state, he misses and it smashes into a table*

Loki: "Nice try, brother"

*He looks back at you*

"So, I haven't heard of you being one of the so-called avengers, I guess you don't have any powers"

Y/N: "No.. I'm just new here"

*You use your powers to blast Loki. He hits the wall behind him and falls to the floor*

*As he hits the floor, Tony and the others come back in*

*Tony flies over to you*

Tony: "Need any help with this guy?"

Y/N: "Nah, I think I got it"

*Loki starts walking towards you*

Loki: "So you do have powers then"

"Well, not for much longer"

*He places his staff on your chest and you feel an electrical surge run through you*

Y/N: "AGHHH!"

Tony: "Y/N!!"

Thor: "Loki, stop!"

*They both start coming towards you*

Loki: "Ah, one more step and she dies"

*Loki looks at you*

Loki: "Now, what am I going to do with you?"

*He lifts you up by your throat, but you manage to slowly lift your right hand*

*Loki notices*

Loki: "Sorry my dear, but your powers aren't going to work now"

*You manage to whisper*

Y/N: "I'm not trying...to use my powers"

*He looks to his left, just as Thor's hammer flies towards you and lands in your hand*

*Everyone looks shocked and confused*

Loki: "What? Impossible"

*In his confusion, he lets go of your neck so you use the hammer to knock him over*

*You go to place it on his chest so he can't get up*

Y/N: "Like you said, this is a family matter. So next time, don't mess with mine"
