Part 49 - Broken And Bruised

*Every few days for the next month, you've been taken to Thanos and asked to prove you're worthy. Every time, you refuse. You're tortured within an inch of your life because you don't comply. Then thrown back into your cell*

Loki: "Why are you doing this?"

"Getting yourself beaten to the brink of death. For what? Pride?"

Y/N: *struggling to breath* "It's..more..than just..pride"

Loki: "Well whatever it is, it really doesn't seem worth it"

Y/N: *catching your breath slightly* "Why do you care?"

Loki: "Because the longer you resist, the longer I'm stuck in this hell hole!"

Y/N: "You seem perfectly fine. Thanos has barely touched you since-"

*You start coughing, you cough up some blood*

*Loki looks at you with almost sadness in his eyes*

*You look at him*

*He reveals the truth and takes down the fake simulation he created of himself in his cell*

*Your eyes widen as you see the mess inside Loki's cell and see him sitting on the floor, looking defeated and broken*

Loki: "Barely touched me, no. But the pain is just as real"

Y/N: "W-what did he do?"

Loki: "Well he knows I like mind games. So he plays them with me. Every time you don't comply.."

*He gives a suggestive look*

Y/N: "Okay"

Loki: "Okay what?"

Y/N: "Okay I'll comply. Next time he takes me to prove I'm worthy, I'll do it. He lets you out of here..then you help me escape"

Loki: "Thought you were going to escape on your own?"

Y/N: "Yeah well clearly I'm not in peak physical condition to do that anymore. Look do you want to get out or not?"

Loki: "When do we start?"
