Part 45 - The Sacrifice Play

*You arrive at the compound and go inside*

Tony: "So what's happened?"

Bruce: "The system you set up, when Y/N was injured, registered some unusual activity yesterday"

Steve: "Thor, Buck and I went to check it out"

Buck: "He'd sent two of his sidekicks to Earth"

Y/N: "So what's his plan then? Did he not do enough damage last time?"

*Everyone falls silent*

Tony: "Am I missing something here?"

Y/N: "Yeah, guys, what's going on? What aren't you telling us?"

Nat: "He wants Y/N"

Tony: "What?!"

Rhodey: "The two minions he sent down to Earth gave us a message"

Y/N: "Which was?"

Steve: "Bring Thanos the one who is worthy and no one gets hurt"

Bruce: "They're coming back in 24 hours. They said either you go with them or they start a war"

*Everyone looks down*

Y/N: "Then I'll go"

Steve: "What?"

Nat: "Y/N no!"

Tony: "You can't be serious?!"

*You look at Tony*

Y/N: "I am"

*You look back at the rest of the team*

Y/N: "What other choice do we have?"

Tony: "How about not sacrificing you to that mad Titan?!"

Y/N: "And what happens then? A war? A fight that we might not even win? A battle that claims countless innocent lives? No, I'm not letting that happen"

Tony: "Well I'm not letting you go. I'm not losing you, I can't lose you. I...I can't lose someone again.."

*You see the sadness spread across Tony's face as he looks at you*

Y/N: "Guys can you give us a sec?"

Rhodey: "Sure"

*They all leave*

*You go over to Tony*

Tony: "You can't go. I can't let you go, please.."

*His voice breaks*

"Don't leave me.."

Y/N: "Tony" *you take his hands in yours* "I love you, but this is not your decision. You need let me do this"

Tony: "How can I?!"

Y/N: "Because I couldn't live with myself if the alternative happens and thousands of people die because of me"

Tony: "And how am I suppose to live without you?"

Y/N: "We don't know what Thanos wants me for. But if he wanted to kill me, he would have done that already"

"The thought of leaving you absolutely crushes me but I can't live in a world where half of it's destroyed because I made the decision not to go"

"He's giving us an option here and we've gotta take it"

Tony: "You know I can't agree with you"

Y/N: "Yeah..I know, and I know you'll never be okay with this but it's not like I'm not scared, I am petrified so I'm gonna need your support more than ever if I'm gonna do this"

*He looks in your eyes, and nods ever so slightly*

Y/N: *you whisper* "Thank you"

*You go find the others*

Y/N: "Guys, I'm going with Thanos"

Nat: "No Y/N, there has to be another way!"

Y/N: "Nat, you know what the other way is and you know damn well I'm not choosing it. I'm doing this and that's final"

*Everyone looks upset*

Y/N: "Steve..what do I have to do?"

*Hesitantly he walks towards the screen where there's a map*

Steve: "This is where they told us to meet them. Tomorrow at noon"

Y/N: "Okay.. then that's where I'll go"

Thor: "You're not going alone" *He gets up*

*You turn round to Thor who's been quiet in the corner this whole time*

Thor: "I'm coming with you"
